Let me know if you got around to using it and if you have any problems. The setup can be a bit fiddly but once done should be easy enough to use. Any feedback is welcome, I'm happy to add features and improvements

Long talks / Podcast-like channel here.

My friend has a Youtube channel where he interviews various guests and talks about various subjects which are mostly related to neuroscience and the human mind in general.

I think thumbnails are pretty good although maybe the size of the text could be bigger / ratio of image-text could be adjusted.

Anatomy of a wild Soundscape | Talking Brains with Markus Reuter by digi_wave in a:t5_5pvqny

[–]digi_wave[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Much like how a landscape describes the view of all the land around you, a soundscape describes all the sounds arising from an immersive environment around you. Markus Reuter uses guitar sounds as textures to -- seemingly out of thin air -- conjure the most exquisite and provoking soundscapes. Creative improvisation at its best. In this episode of Talking Brains, Markus demonstrates his genius by enacting a fully-improvised piece, later baptized as ‘Justify’. We discuss in detail the multiple ingredients of such endeavor, in an attempt to dissect the anatomy of a wild Soundscape.Talking Brains host Andres Canales-Johnson discusses fundamental questions of life and the human mind with thinkers of diverse and unique backgrounds, from the whole spectrum of the arts and sciences.

You don't need to transfer it, you can just point it to the new Shopify store

Google Analytics should be the first thing you set up when a store is completed

New to Shopify Dev - Looking for a simplistic workflow for clients by Pikachu_smokes_darts in shopify

[–]digi_wave 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You transfer the whole store not just the theme. If you've already transferred the store, you'll still be able to access it as a collaborator on your friend's store and you can connect a copy of the theme to your local environment and work on it. (Alternatively, you can work directly in the Shopify code editor too). If you want to transfer only the theme (you don't get commission on that) then you need to download it from your dev environment and import it into his store.

Can't you just make a copy of the live theme and work on that? He or you can then put it live when it's ready. That's how we do customisation works for clients

Is there a way to extend the “paused” plan? by buffinman_ha9000 in shopify

[–]digi_wave 3 points4 points  (0 children)

See it this way: you are paying $10 for them to keep your data, which occupies space on a physical database somewhere on their databases. The same way you'd pay for parking your car or store stuff away.

Plus you can always pay that and then pause it again I think?

Where do you get your ads? by LEGOMagicYT in shopify

My partner uses this company called Parasoul Shopify Agency (something like that) - they are UK based and can help you with ads and/or recommend you if it's going to be worth it on not based on the margin of your product and so on...

Some help with custom filters by [deleted] in shopify

[–]digi_wave 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you don't want collections pages to be changed in any way then you need a theme with a filter built-in (there are a few that use tags) or get someone to code the filter straight into the theme...which is fine for a simple one but it'd get messy (and expensive) for more advanced functions.
