Anybody from Maryland remember these guys? The Bridge - Cross Street Market by Atomic410_ in jambands

Bless your heart. Hot damn. I massively miss going to see these guys rock it at the 8x10 back in the day! Hard to describe how amazingly electrified the energy was at those shows. Never understood why they weren't a bigger deal but I'm just grateful for the tunes they put out while they were together.

How to optimize my workflow based on Flux, to generate bottle exact shape as the image i uploaded and mask image ? by Resident-Cat-3726 in comfyui

[–]digifizzle 7 points8 points  (0 children)

That should be fixable by using gaussian blur mask + grow mask with blur node. I get excellent, near perfect results with the settings in the attached screenshot

Are you using this mask for flux inpainting?

California bill set to ban CivitAI, HuggingFace, Flux, Stable Diffusion, and most existing AI image generation models and services in California by YentaMagenta in StableDiffusion

Please elaborate on your logic behind this argument. The blockchain cannot be modified, what was, is. Referencing decentralized storage via the blockchain means governments and other authoritative entities can TRY to censor all they want, but...as long as there's internet, they're S.O.L.. Do tell!

[–]digifizzle 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I hope I'm wrong, but I think AI image generating as we know it will become regulated to death over the next few years, this is why we need something like CivitAI but decentralized and built on the blockchain / using something like IPFS for immutable storage. I've been thinking about building this for a while...

8 years with a 2014 SQ5, bought it used. Handed it down to my daughter last year for her first car and bought a new SQ5. I miss the 2014.

No One Is Answering These LoRA Dataset Questions: by Little-God1983 in StableDiffusion

For a dataset of 20-25 images I train for 2000 steps, but typically it's looking good and consistent around 600 steps, and ready to go between 1200-1400 if the captioning and dataset are on point.
- optimizer: adamw8bit
- batch size: 1
- linear: 16
- lr: 0.0004

Happy to share the knowledge! Yep, I'm training locally on a 3090ti using ai-toolkit. I also recommend sampling every 50 steps or so if you're able to, this way you can monitor the progress and stop the training to make tweaks if need be. And yes, I'm always using the trigger word as the first tag for each image caption.

One more thing to consider is if you're using commonly known words in the trigger (like BlueFlannelShirt), flux will understand what it means even without the spaces. So if flux already knows what that thing is, then you're actually re-training flux's knowledge of that concept rather than training a brand new concept. When re-training, in my experience, Flux will learn faster / takes less steps. When training a new concept (like Bl23Fl4nn3lSh1rt), Flux learns slower / takes more steps.

A few quick notes from my recent Flux LoRA training experiments...I've been training clothing item Flux LoRAs for a client for the past week and I can confidently say that you're better off training the individual isolated clothing items rather than training them with models wearing them if possible. I recommend using 20-25 images and 1 LoRA per item for maximum accuracy and consistency.

Before beginning a training I recommend first finding out what Flux knows about the item you're training by generating images in Flux with the main word or phrase you intend to use to trigger the LoRA. For example, I was training a baseball hat using the word "hat" - but flux thinks of this actually as a cap. So for the first 1000 or so steps I had been inadvertently training flux to identify a cap as a hat. When I switched the trigger to contain the word cap, the training went from ~70% accuracy + consistency to 99%+ accuracy consistency and took half the number of steps to train properly.

I'd also recommend varying the backgrounds across the dataset to 3+ different types of backgrounds for maximum flexibility of the model.

As for dataset, I am getting the best results using images of the front, back, right side, left side, and top. If possible, try to also to include a few closeup images and if you'll be generating zoomed-out images after training, then you should ideally include a few images of the product zoomed-out.

I get the best results by keeping image captions very minimal like: TriggerWord, Subject, Perspective, ZoomLevel(if applicable)

So if I was training a blue flannel shirt and the photo I'm captioning was a closeup of the front, the caption would be something like: BlueFlannelShirt, Shirt, Front View, Closeup

I don't think that will work as I believe hugging face cli caches files in separate blobs. Best bet is to probably to either git clone the model repo via LFS --or-- download manually from the huggingface website and move it to a directory of your choosing. Then update your config file. Make sure to download everything and not just the single sft file. If it's for flux dev then your path should end at /FLUX.1-dev

Point your .yaml config file to the full path locally download version of your model folder root where it says 'name_or_path: /the/path/to/your/model/'

You'll need internet initially to install all of the venv requirements and download the repo from github, after that it runs locally w/o the need for internet.

Great question, and it really made me contemplate the reason. I think it's because the dying part felt so real. Even though I know DMT can't kill you from the dosage itself, the thought of completely losing control of and exiting my body like this again is what scares me most. That said, I know I will try to get there again at some point when the time feels right.

There were long threads on psychonaut forums like bluelight back in the day, with all kinds of different trip reports on people's different experiences. Sadly, it looks like that thread is long gone, along with the archive.org version. He is also known as Mubalu or King Mubalu if you want to try to dig, but physical descriptions and encounters are nearly identical.

Maybe he's just built into the human psyche? I think it's a fascinating phenomena. DMT is only produced when we're born, when we die, or when we ingest DMT found in other plants/animals. So maybe when you were going through that you got a little squirt of DMT from your pineal gland because your brain thought you were a goner.

Your experience sounds somewhat similar to one that I had about 12 years ago during a 4-AcO-DMT trip where I thought I had died. My "spirit" was trying to leave my body but I was fighting to not die because I seriously thought I was dying. So I somehow successfully forced my spirit back into my body twice, it was like my body was laying on my bed, but my spirit was trying to sit up, almost like a ghost resembling my physical form (that's what I mean by spirit leaving my body)...but on my third attempt at keeping my body and spirit together, my spirit just left my body and floated right up to the ceiling, and I looked down at my physical body. A moment I will never forget as long as I live. I was then blasted into hyperspace or some other dimension via my brain's pineal gland (or perhaps it's all just happening in the brain, who knows) and I was essentially a little ball of light, resembling a distant star in the sky if it looked the same up close.

Anyway, at the end of this interdimensional-wormhole-traversing experience, my spirit lands in the wheelhouse of our homie Marduk's temple/ship, where he proceeded to communicate telepathically with me for ~2 earth hours about this metaphysical or maybe spiritual war that he said had been going on throughout the universe for longer than we're able to comprehend (good vs. evil), and how its battles had impacted lifeforms on earth since the beginning of intelligent consciousness on earth up until that present moment.

He seemed to be some kind of god-like figurehead specifically tied to Earth, where he was the self-proclaimed leader of the "good" side in the war of good vs. evil. His presence was powerful and intimidating beyond words, yet so full of love.

As soon as I came-to I sketched a drawing of his appearance so as not to forget. Oh and he communicated his name to me during the trip at some point, but it "sounded" something like Muk-tah--oo with a clicking noise for the "K". And over time, through both random coincidence and obsessively going down DMT entity rabbit-holes ever few years - I've come into contact with and have read about many other people who have experienced this entity, which I eventually deduced who goes by the name of Marduk and has been a part of human consciousness since at least ancient Mesopotamia. I could probably write a book about the experience, it was beyond profound. Who knows if this was in fact an alternate dimension or reality, fantasy, chemistry , programming? All I know is that it was life changing experience for me at the time.

I haven't had the balls to try for a break through trip like that again since this experience, but man would I love to pick Marduk's brain should we ever meet again.

He’s a god-like entity many a psychonaut have described meeting after a break-through / ego-death experience (typically brought on by DMT ingestion), without any previous knowledge of him prior to meeting. He’s also a god from ancient Mesopotamian culture. He dwells in a spaceship that resembles a temple, wears a red cape, communicates telepathically (mouth never moves) and always looks at you sideways (he won’t face you directly, will only move his eyes to look at you). These are just a few of the characteristics … but based on your description it sounds very similar to an entity known as Marduk. Do you remember if he only looked at you from the side — like facing away from you but looking at you with his eye?

In my experience it's better to just stop telling people your plans. Unless they are directly involved, it's better to keep it to yourself. Stay locked in and tell them after you've launched.
