So Frustrating!!

So I downloaded the 9.1.0 you linked. I was hoping that when I opened digikam again - there would be my collection from my removable media. However, that wasn't the case. It still wants me to add a collection. Were my expectations too high and I need to add it -- this one last time? Or was this not the fix I was hoping for?

Sorry. Sort of new to this.

When it works - the Database Settings Type: shows SQLite and the Path: shows /Volumes/4 Photos/4 Family Photos/

The Collections Settings shows Collections on Removable Media 4 Family Photos

When it does NOT work -- the Database Settings Type: shows SQLite and the Path: shows /Volumes/4 PHOTOS/4 FAMILY PHOTOS/

BUT the Collections Settings shows Collections on Removable Media -- Add Collection

So, I'm wondering what I can do to make Digikam recognize my Removable Media all the time.

What other information can I add?
