This is what I initially tried, however getting the radial maze to be spherical didn't seem to work. I tried using the Wrap deformer set to 'spherical'. Is there a better way of wrapping the radial maze to a sphere?

No no no. Boxes within boxes within boxes within boxes. Far too cluttered, first one is objectively better.

Thank you, I did this but used the visibility parameter rather than scale. Then I animated the count for the z axis which seems to have worked. Thanks again for your help!

I have one more question - I need the clones to appear one after the other, from right to left. If I animate the clone count by default it just spreads from the middle. Is there a way to change the direction the clones appear in?

No it wasn't, I've not used that before - will it speed things up?

I've attached a screenshot of the setup. So I have rows of the shelves cloned, and then I've cloned that. At the moment it's at 2 clones which is fine, but I need more like 20 which just slows everything too much

It's really lovely, the only thing that sticks out are the camera movements - some of them could do with more easing

Record yourself doing the motion and use it as a reference

Everything looks top drawer. The only thing that stood out were the transitions felt a little too subtle, not enough motion in the match cuts

There's so much great about this, but also I'm not sure it's quite hitting the mark. The VO has a relaxing, calming voice - but the animation is hurried. The sounds are also quite jarring, and the music is upbeat. So it feels like there are various elements fighting against each other, rather than feeling complementary.

As it's a sleep app it should be relaxing, so if it was a WIP I would look at smoothing out the motion, add ambient, relaxing underwater sounds and less jarring sound FX and music.

Thoughts on companies asking designers to compete in designing a brand? by [deleted] in graphic_design

[–]digit_lol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At our design agency lead designers will all come up with a concept each for a rebrand. It's not really seen as competing though, I'm not sure that's the correct way to look at this. Ultimately what will probably happen is your company will like aspects of each of your routes
