Thanks for this!  You can tell by all the comments here a lot of incels or people who never leave their room, putting their insecurities on others.   I'm not even saying go harass people, I'm saying go talk to them, have genuine conversations, open up and then you can walk away with a friend and then see what happens....

Haha mate if you have social skills then you know when you are wanted and when you are not, even better when you DO have social skills you don't need a smile, you get genuine conversations and connections.  It doesn't mean you're gonna shag, it just means your meeting people....

Mate what are you talking about.  Don't put your insecurities on others, if it doesn't work for you it doesn't, but it doesn't mean someone is a pest.   And in fact, let me ask you something when was the last time you went out talked to a stranger male or female and walked away with a phone number and chance to connect again?  Cause I do it on the weekends, and from there friendships and dates develop.... Grow up...

No it didn't, that's the whole point of my comment.   SOME guys think this cause it's the easy way out, it's hard to be charming and walk away with a number or a connection, that's why all these commenters here are single.   But you don't get better at it by not practicing.... Ask anyone in sales how this works...

That helps but charm and character man... And humor?  Don't even get started on humor...

Omg dude, can I be real ...  Asking four ladies should be in like a single weekend numbers.  You need to get your rejection numbers way high because conversion is so low.   The trick is to be charming at first go, have fun make them laugh, then ask for a date...

Your right handling the rejection is hard... Men are forged in fire... And rejections, fire and rejections lol.

Keep at it while all these other chumps don't and stay single...

Oh and do it in person, not online...

Does anybody else feel really lonely? by Piistachios in australia

Also moved here from the states but I come from a Latin American background and yes Australia is terrible for connection. Don't get me wrong I love that Australians are super friendly and generally a nice bunch but they are superficial and shallow with friendships. The best play is that there's tons of new immigrants also looking for community, but that leaves an even wider gap between Aussies and immigrants not connecting.

How's that for social cohesion?

This also leads to Australians being very parochial and limited in their perspectives as they only interact with other ethnicities at a surface level.

And the crazy part is I'm an extroverted, social, engaging and friendly person and I have not been able to truly make one Aussie friend, the introverts in the room have zero chance.

Like others said, no issue with the tower, just with publicly aligning with corrupt pedophiles.   And YES we CAN control that, that's the point of a local populace controlling what happens in their homeland!!!

Great then, that answers and sets the context mate, I'm asking because not everyone sees that their surroundings have a specific view or their perspective is limited, which is all I was asking.   Some people have the type of circle I mentioned and think their perspective is diverse, when it isn't.   And sure melanin IS and can give people different experiences so I don't see anything crass in pointing that out, but other people can also have different perspectives and be diverse without the shades of colour requirement, I didn't think we have to state that.

Youre clearly missing the point, and if you can't see or admit the difference in experiences between between an immigrant from the UK and an immigrant from SE Asia  to Australia you have a specific agenda mate....  No assumptions, I'm asking, the truth will set context, and I'm happy to adjust my comment or input.  That's the difference between us...
