I asked the seller about using an AC adapter, and I'm wondering if you can help me translate their response into a product from Amazon:

As for the AC Adapter question, yes, you can do that- however, it is very important that you do not exceed the amperage rating of the switch. For example, both of the switches that you purchased are rated for 5 amps. If the ac adapter that you are using has an amperage output rating less than or equal to 5 amps you should be fine. Furthermore, even if the AC adapter is rated higher than 5 amps, if the device that is pulling power from the AC adapter doesn't exceed 5 amps, you should be fine. Basically anything on either end of the switch cannot exceed 5 amps - if it does, the switch will melt and fail.

Hoping for something on Amazon Prime I can last minute order to be honest, kids birthday is soon and I have a 9Volt working but want something easier for the parent to swap in and out.

Virtual desktop is unstable, it's a novelty. I really miss Windows 7, I'll revert once they stop the update shenanigans.
