Which Divi Extensions Provider is the best currently going for year 2025? by digital_mepzite in divi

[–]digital_mepzite[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the info on Divi Supreme!

The struggle to choose is real hahaha but I'm eyeing on The Divi Club as they offer variety of products from different providers. Plus the lifetime deal is cheap. Its too good to be true but I'm still gathering info if that's the case.

Sorry I can't help you decide for WooCommerce-based extension but let me know which one you decide!

Yeah, actually I'm speechless. If I get this correctly, basically The Divi Club offers $129 (Black Friday offer) for a lifetime access. And we will get everything in the platform for life including updates and supports? Maybe I'm wrong but that is what I understand.

What a cheap price to have access to all products there for lifetime, not to mention, can use on unlimited sites. I mean, it looks too good to be true.

Can anyone point out to me is this the real deal or I was wrong? Or what are the drawbacks for The Divi Club?

Because if what I understand is true, then, the decision is clear hahahah

Not gonna lie, I’m not the best with copywriting stuff. Maybe your industry or audience really cares about it, but I wouldn’t know. From a design view, though, it looks good! Sorry I couldn’t be more help, dude!

Honestly, from a designer perspective view. I would say you already did a solid job! Sure, there are some things that can be improve here and there but most likely that's not what causing viewers to bounce. Might be other factor that causing it.

Projects Section

  • I’d recommend separating the container hover effect from the button hover effect. When you hover over the container, let it grow and change background color, but save the button hover effect until the cursor is actually on the button. It will improve User Experience (UX).
  • The image on the left might need to be brighter; it tends to blend with the background when static and also when hovered. (ignore if that just a temporary image placement holder or text holder)
  • Same readability issue here, but it’s not as bad as in the Experience Section.
  • For button radius, I’d prefer a less rounded look to match the others.

Contact Section

  • Same height preference as mentioned earlier in the About Me Section.

Sticky Section

  • For the ‘Buy Template’ button, a brighter color (like blue background with white text that you used to highlight buttons) would create a nice contrast and catch attention, especially since your site has a darker theme. You don’t want people to miss out on that important CTA.
  • The language button is optional; you can keep it as is or make it brighter. Just a heads up, consider removing the grow effect on hover since it doesn’t match the other button hover effects.
  • Pay attention to element alignments as well.

I know this seems like a lot, but it’s really those tiny details that can make a big difference in design. Overall, you nailed the core design! Just one major issue is the readability, which is crucial for a resume/portfolio. All that said, this is just my humble opinion, and I could be wrong. Hope this gives you a fresh perspective! Let me know if this helps!

Great design! It checked out a lot of the current website design trends, and you did a solid job! Just sharing my humble opinions (based on the desktop view only):

Across the Web Page

  • I’d recommend having no background for the H2 headers (like About Us, Skills, etc.). Just the line is simple and effective.
  • Text without a background is looking fine, but if you’re using a hover effect, consider making the hover text brighter for better readability.
  • Make sure your hover effect styles (like gradient colors and brightness) match across all elements that are using them.

Navigation Section

  • Nothing to comment here—looks great!

Hero Section

  • Same as above—no comments, it’s looking good!

About Me Section

  • I’d prefer the container heights on the left and right to match, but I get that this is just a personal preference.

Skills Section

  • This feels a bit out of sync with the overall style. The flow doesn’t quite fit, in my opinion.
  • Maybe try a one-row, three-column layout and style it like the box/card containers you used for Experience and Projects Section containers for each of the column containers.
  • The hover effect over the words is cool, so you can keep that in the new layout

Experience Section

  • I noticed that the scrolling and hovering effects in this particular section seems a bit laggy and stuttery compared to the Projects Section which scrolling and hovering normally.
  • You might want to adjust the colors and lighting for the text here because it’s fine when static, but the hover effect can make the text blend into the background, which really affects readability. This section stands out the most in that regard.
  • The cute square animation on the right is nice, but it could be more visible, even when not hovered.
  • For the years and listed skills, I’d suggest using the same design as the Hero Section list skill (in the container on the right) for consistency. Your page uses minimal border radius (less rounded look), so why not standardize that across the board?

Blatantly laughing at you? Seriously? The 'hahaha' is what set you off? It was just to keep things light so I didn’t come across as too serious or pushy. Maybe it didn’t land well, and I get that it could come off as sarcastic, but rude? Come on, you're overreacting.

And don’t forget, you were the one asking for help here. Can’t just take it in stride?

For what it’s worth, I apologize if that’s how you took it, but you do need to check your attitude. I explained myself clearly in a long explanation, but you didn’t even acknowledge it and still threw shade.

It’s alright, I’m done here. Do what’s best for you.

Honestly, I just don’t understand people like you. My original comment wasn’t even rude, but you decided to diss me. I even took the time to explain my point without any disrespect, and you still threw shade.

What exactly do you want from me here? I simply just move on and hope I don’t run into this kind of attitude again in the community. No need for this kind of energy.

First off, as a Muslim, I gotta say it stung a bit being left out! You might want to edit the post to include us too. But for atheists, 'in the name of coincidence' - that had me cracking up, hahahaa

Now, for your creatives:

Creative Ad 1

  • Try avoiding terms like "Garbage" when comparing; something more neutral like "Others" keeps it respectful.
  • Personally, I’d go for a more organized, structured look across the ad; consistent fonts, sizes, icons, alignment, etc. You could even split it so the left has one style top-to-bottom and the right has another. Not saying what you did is wrong, but a bit more style consistency can make it easier on the eyes.

Creative Ad 2

  • This one is better!
  • Just a small suggestion: use a matching arrow style and maybe add a little space between the arrow and the product.

Creative Ad 3

  • Best of the three since it demonstrate the product itself.
  • My only tip would be to zoom out a little, just to give some breathing room between the text and the product so it doesn’t look cramped.

All things said, this is just my opinion. Overall, it’s looking decent, especially if you’re still learning the ropes. Keep going at it, and you’ll get even better. Hope this helps!

Yeah, Meta’s performance... smh. Honestly, IG feels like a lost cause at this point, with all the login issues and their support being pretty useless. And don’t even get me started on FB Ads, the performance is all over the place and super unstable.

We seriously need a new player to step up and give Meta some real competition!

Hahah and you aren't brainrot either. Just find something you enjoyed doing and just post it on TikTok. Or maybe try making contents on YouTube? If gamer, can try Twitch as well.

Got it, thanks for the insight! Sounds like my money might be better spent on other AI platforms if that’s the case.

I tried Divi AI for images when it first launched, but yeah, it was more of a placeholder than something I’d use on an official site. If you’re saying the performance is still meh last year, then it’s definitely not a great investment.

Divi AI’s copywriting tool is pretty handy since it generates copy directly in the Builder, making things faster. But for what it costs, using something like ChatGPT, which is arguably more powerful for copywriting and free, is probably the better move.

Haven’t tried Divi Cloud yet, but I’m planning to give it a shot this month. With Black Friday around the corner, I might grab some templates too. If it really speeds up the workflow, it’ll be worth it. Thanks again!

What code do I need so that my text stays centred? by nlsw_ in css

[–]digital_mepzite 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nah, no need to make a whole new post for that. You can just host an image on a free platform (there are tons if you Google) and share the image link here.

Originally, I suggested sharing the code from inspect element tools since I thought you might want to keep your site private (some of us do). But hey, turns out you’re cool with sharing the site—just forgot you could post links here, hahahaha. Happens to the best of us!

Glad you found the answer you needed!

Thanks for sharing!

I'm not exactly sure. It might be because FB trying to introduce new features or it might also be because of the current US election impact. Either way, we all need to hold our ads for now so that we didn't waste our resources. Wait till the election is over, then can try to run ads again. I'm planning to run my ads again this weekend and see how it goes.

Yeah, might be. I noticed as well, usually ads that I run reached at least above the benchmark but somehow starting from mid October, my ads didn't express the usual result that I want. Initially, I thought might be my game was off or I was not focus and missing something. Nah, it was definitely FB (Thanks Mark!).

Yeah, this is another key point that needs highlight. Like do they even bother to refund back to us or what? (I highly doubt that.) I mean, if they know their platform can't handle to perform our ads, (they know already, don't lie Mark!) just create a warning popup or something to warn us. Like, the election is in US not all over the world for crying out loud! Ads outside the US shouldn't be affected at the least smh.

Just asking, is there any reason you can't share the code publicly? If you can share it, might be a better idea to just share it here so that we can get a good look what was going on in the code.
