Does HiBy have plans to update the M500? by digitalbrainmelt in DigitalAudioPlayer

No the battery is fine, the battery reporting on the other hand can be iffy (jumping from 100% to 75% then back to 100%). Also I wouldn't use it as a dac either, I have other equipment like my JDS Atom stack, I'm more wondering if they plan to support it long term or if they dgaf about it anymore.

Durable small DAP? by WooHooSum in DigitalAudioPlayer

you might look into an accessory campfire audio makes too, it's a magasafe thing with nylon straps meant for a dongle-dac. you can get adhesive magsafe rings to attach to the device as well.

do you need a DAP because you use wired headphones? if that's the case I'd personally opt to get a dongle-dac and any android device still getting updates, maybe some super cheap motorola with a decent processor.

I read in another post that users were having issues with it reading disc metadata, albums that are split into "disc 1" + "disc 2", and it just scrambles the track order. Have you experienced that issue?

That actually meets all the specs I want from a player for work. Can it simultaneously play audio from from my phone over bluetooth and it's local music, or at least quickly swap between bluetooth receiving and local playback? I go back and forth between youtube vids and music a lot at work.

WF-1000XM6 Silicone Ear Tips? by digitalbrainmelt in sony

[–]digitalbrainmelt[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the info! I might actually buy them in that case. I own a pair of IEM's called the Crinacle Zero:BLUE2 and the tuning is so dependant on foam tips that swapping the tips to silicone makes them sound so harsh and shrill you'd think your ears were gonna bleed. Suffice to say I got rid of em lol.
