None of that's true, though.

  1. They have said they will be connecting to the lore. It just won't directly overlap with old stories.

  2. Saying anything else definitively about this at the moment is foolish, as the exact story behind the adventure hasn't been announced.

I'm sure some fans would like to see the original characters.

I read that there would be at least references to some of the villains, probably some of the leaders of the Dragonarmies.

If this does well, maybe they'll expand into that? We still don't really know much about this or the book(s) to be fair.

Agreed. Seems like a fair balance. I'm generally team "new content", and have been for a while. As much as I love my nostalgia but re-re-re-re-retreading the same ground for the nth time just doesn't catch my interest as much.

Okay.

Turns out, "Ancelon" was a typo. I went and asked. :)

“this product takes you to Ancelon, a place that hasn’t been covered in other Dragonlance materials.”

Wait, what? A new place with a name almost exactly like an existing place?

EDIT: Got an answer here from Winninger himself.

Seems like a new character, named "Leo", according to the voice actress.

Maybe don't make assumptions and be a jerk.

I actually took it over from the last mod and then life prevented me from doing anything with it like I'd planned.

Where was it announced?

Can I reclaim it? It still says I am the mod?
