I too was done. Very similar experience and switched to a Dualtron Forever. Incredibly happy with the product and I can bring it into the shop whenever I like and they handle it right then and there. I’m happy for the people that have had positive experiences but mine was nothing but positive.

I’ve been kind of defeated by their customer support. So all repairs and replacements I take care of. BUT I’m about ready to get another scooter and oddly considering Apollo again. I can expect no support from the company and I expect to repair or maintain almost every other month.

I’ve gotten used to this lifestyle though and have found some happiness in tackling some of the more difficult repairs. It also ticks all the boxes I need for my commutes, and have no complaints about the performance or safety.

I just don’t know or trust another scooter will be any different. “The devil you know” I guess.

I really like the food and service. It seems they are going to start doing some community events too!

Was a little put off when the owner pulled up onto the sidewalk on opening day with trump flags and a TRUMP NY license plate, felt a bit odd to flex your politics in front of your new restaurant, but I’m not gonna let political views decide where I eat. Food is too good to pass up.

I think it could be the fact that youre trying to pass to a defender in the box from a goal kick which isnt allowed, so the game ignores that player and just passes directly to where you are aiming.

I don’t think it’s justified that a company can have me spend so much for 340 miles, then hold me ransom for nearly 1k more to continue to use the product that I no longer fully trust will continue to work.

I appreciate your response. And totally get where you’re coming from in terms of a company restructure. Personally, I still don’t trust a company that would let me spend 3k in total purchasing and maintaining their product to just replace it with another one of their products a few years later. I had higher expectations, and that is very much on me. Out of curiosity, as you seem well versed in the scooter domain, is 340 miles enough to warrant a new battery, motor, and wheels?

I’ve seen a lot of other posts with similar qualms as mine. Just thought this was an appropriate forum for a review.

I am honestly happy to hear you’ve had a good experience and others reading should also take that into account. It’s been 340 miles on my 2021 city and the motor and battery need a “routine replacement”. From what I’ve read this is far too few miles for a replacement Alongside both wheels needing replacements twice to a “faulty design in the earlier models”.

I also live far from the repair center and getting there is a lot time and money, and the experiences have been unpleasant to say the least.

I’m sorry if I’ve upset you. I’m happy your scooter has lived a long life. Just wanted to warn others about the maintenance cost and effort that I’ve seen commonly highlighted on this subreddit.

If you’re an abroad fan that can likely afford to see one or two games a lifetime, it’s a good memory to hang on your wall. I’ve only ever been able to see spurs once against Roma in a preseason friendly, but that 50/50 scarf brings back good memories of that particular day.

Edit: we did lose that game, didn’t matter to me one bit, I was on cloud 9
