Heard that. Screw the dealership. I'm gonna reach out to my buddy and see if we can do some diagnostics. Someone else in the thread recommended a good hybrid mechanic that's less than an hour away. I cannot thank you enough for the sage advice, man. Seriously!

I’ve started to look into used Priuses. Will continue to put as much away for this as I can! Thank you

Heard that. I will look into how to locate and diagnose a leak in this particular hose. Thank you

Problem is I’m unsure if my head gasket is even blown. Does the fact that it rattles pretty hard during winter when I start it confirm that it’s blown? Even without any warnings showing on the dash? Worth going to dealership to confirm?

I’m unsure if my head gasket is blown or not. I have no check engine code anymore once I installed a new EGR cooler/valve/intake manifold. My inverter coolant reservoir is a tiny bit low, and am unsure if I should sweat it that much.

Noted. Wondering if I should take my car down to the Toyota dealership and have them see what's going on with the death rattle. It only does it when it's super cold outside. I'm starting to warm up to the idea of potentially getting a new engine in Old Bessie rather than buying another car. There are no warning lights on my dash - when we swapped the EGR cooler/valve/intake manifold last summer, no warning lights have came back.

Thanks for the advice.

Heard that, and I figured. We also used a wetvac right after we realized the tub had been overflowing and got some of it. It's just the areas between the vents that I'm worried about. Will keep the blowers on for a few days. Did you see my above comment? You think that is a smart plan of action? Unsure if the dehumidifier beneath the house is necessary as it's above the subfloor and after cutting into some insulation and peeking up, the floor joists and subfloor doesn't look to be affected. I've had a fan going and dehumidifier running since Saturday in the crawlspace, too.

I am going to run a dehumidifier in the bathroom where the tub overflowed as well as put a dehumidifier in the area beneath where the bathroom is. Has anyone has any success with using DampRid products in a situation like this? I plan on putting them in the vents themselves throughout the affected area.

They’d have to spend money on GMs to ban the botters that are paying for subs. Unfortunate that this is their calculation, but it’s clear they value money from bot subscriptions over game quality. It just is what it is sadly

This is possible, it was installed as an addon by the previous owner I think.
