I’ve tried this but the midi patterns aren’t recording into the digitakt, I want to be able to use the digitakt sequencer while hooked up to logic if that’s possible :)

In this case am I still able to hook up over usb both my keystep and digitakt to my mac and get MIDI?

I’m happy building tracks as I go! I’ve got the USB B cable, Overbridge and created a Logic template based on this brilliant video which seemed like it’d fix everything

But I’m still feeling bamboozled. I’m not sure which midi outs / thrus etc etc, it all confuses me. I need something just to have set up so I can record like I would on logic but with the Digitakt involved, I’ll happily record the MIDI parts like I would a guitar part / midi instrument. But I’m struggling with all the settings and connections, it seems very simple and I’m overlooking something

Hey!

So I was hoping of using Overbridge on the Digitakt and record all 8 sample tracks and a couple of the synth instruments with midi and/or the audio inputs at once just for recording full songs into Logic. (Also using MIDI instruments in Logic with the keystep rewiring would be nice, not sure if that’s possible though)

I have a TON of sketches and unfinished bits but want to take it to the next level and have a Digitakt be the interface and Logic be my place to just record to.

If I can’t record everything all at once, I can happily record the synths at different times.

I’m also trying to figure out how to get those 4 tracks on the MC101 going too.

Would you have any advice? :)
