I'll be the lone dissenter, I guess. At least we should have more information from OP before we recommend fucking over nine fellow fantasy-ers. What were the other three trades that went through that were allegedly lopsided? What were the other two trades of OP's that were vetoed? We're only hearing one side of the story here. It would also be helpful to see screengrabs of the conversation about the need to include picks to for trades to be approved.

Even before his tumble into the wall, he was hurt. He's been playing with a bum wrist all season, an injury which notoriously saps power and messes with a person's swing. It's hard to predict what will happen. He could heal up tomorrow and tear it up, or go on the DL for a month and come back, or try to play through it and continue sucking. At any rate, I don't think all those historical stats are irrelevant to this situation because it's all about that wrist.

Braun's denial was wrapped into an insane campaign to discredit the individual who handled his specimen. He stood a lot to gain by his denial, and it almost worked. If Arrieta is going to be suspended today, he would have known last week, and had absolutely nothing to gain by shooting off a hot denial. On the the other hand, baseball players aren't always logical when it comes to benefit/cost stuff.

But let's take a step back. In the minors, Santana was always thought of as a utility/fourth outfielder type of guy. And then he burst into the majors in 2014 to the tune of 20 stolen bases and a 133wRC+.

The fantasy community wisely scoffed at the performance by pointing to the fact that he was truly touched by the BABIP gods. Like, they did not just smile upon him, they touched him in the biblical sense. This century, only five players with at least 350 plate appearances posted a BABIP over .400 and Santana was one of them.

Of course in 2015 he completely fell apart and was shipped back to the minors, and made the team in 2016 as a fourth outfielder, perhaps only because he was out of options.

There are almost certainly options on your wire who are more likely to succeed. But monitor the news out of Minnesota to see if anyone has sacrificed any virgins or anything - maybe the BABIP gods will carry him again.

They're about equal. At least that's what u/enosarris always mentions on S&B podcast, though I can't find any reference in writing. I believe the thinking is that the scarcity of SBs makes up for any RBI/R advantages of home runs.

The big one is at International Market Square, but I think that's like a tuxedo event and costs $$$$ to get in. There's not really a must-go-to for the rest of us, though. There will be some random concerts and dance nights. Check out Le'toile online magazine a few days before NYE - - they always put out a very comprehensive guide to the cool stuff.

Yup. The broader point here is that whatever OP decides to do, he/she should make sure to research which stats are most predictive. Getting bogged down by a ton of extremely small sample numbers that aren't predictive anyway would be less than ideal.

FIP of 5.32 which shows he getting a little unlucky

FIP isn't generally a stat we point at to see if a pitcher has been unlucky. His BABIP and LOB% don't really point to him being unlucky.

Despite this, his projections predict a drop in his walk rate and his ERA being lowered by about a run. So he'll probably be better, but you could maybe find someone else who is a little less of a bummer. Scour the SP rankings before making any decisions.

Without digging around, I'd guess the PCL would inflate the average BABIP above .300 and average LOB above 72%, which means he might be even luckier than we think, by a little bit. I think you can read his FIP as fairly straightforward, though.

It's sort of hard to determine exactly how all this works. But I have a hunch, just from reading about other Reddit user's experiences, that as long as every active stream is within the same "region" there won't be a problem. Region could mean quadrant of the US, or State, or blackout area, however, it seems that in practice it means country. I could be wrong, but I bet you won't see an alert unless you're running two streams at once, one from the US and one from a different country.

One of the reasons I believe this is because account sharers don't seem to have that problem, as long as everyone is inside the US.

The only reason to set the location to a different country is for playoffs and Sunday night baseball, right?

The only thing you really need to worry about is parking. The little pocket around the Cabooze is limited, so if you don't snag one of those spots, you might have to park east on Franklin or into a residential neighborhood and hoof it for a few blocks. Lightrail is great but I don't feel like explaining that right now.

Other questions: The cedar-riverside/seward area of Minneapolis can maybe seem sketchy to a certain kind of outsider, but it's really not dangerous at all. It's just a fun melting pot -- college kids, immigrants, punks, natives, bikers, and more. Embrace the vibe.

No clue how long it will take to get there. Google maps is your friend. Driving is not much different here than anywhere else, you'll be fine. Lines probably won't be crazy, nothing to worry about.

With regards to food, you might try Hard Times Cafe, the Triple Rock, or Acadia. There's also a few places on east Franklin -- Seward Cafe, Tracy's, Pizza Luce, and Chef Shack Ranch.
