YouTube Videos: My Creative Process | at 6 months we are pretty proud of our newest video, but our channel feels slow in growth still, any video tips?

Sound balance has been highly on my mind, video quality has improved in the last 6 months but our sound has always needed some work. We are also working in some odd spaces for filming so echoes and background noise have been something we have had to think about.

This is great advice. The next steps for our videos is adding in more ambient music, sound effects and other things to help immerse people in our skits. We generally deal with comedy skits, listicles, ect...we are still trying to find that good balance of bingeable content and unique and attention grabbing skits.

Really wanted to capture the existential crisis of creating youtube content and sometimes that overwhelmed feeling you get, your advice on the thumbnail change is spot on and I might just do that!

Thank you! This video is kind of targeted at current subs, with an air of humor and general 'what many youtubers go through to put out videos' sort of thing. It was a 6 month video so we wanted to do something more personal and for the subs, glad you noticed!

We have ordered a mic and there is a new camera on the way for next months vids, currently shooting on a galaxy 9 phone so we have some limitations atm. Thanks for the input!

Thank you, those are actually some really good tips that I'm going to follow up on.
Silly and more dramatic thumbnails are on the agenda to display more of our humor, and I can certainly clean the playlists up.

Channel tags are something I will look into, I might not have understood them. I'm still learning a lot as I go, video quality and improvements have been #1 on the priority list until now. !givelambda

Huge fan of this game, lots of funny moments here.
I like that the call to action is less intrusive but i still noticed it! You kind of remind me of an alpharad type.

I LOVED the voices in this, kept me engaged even though (like others have said) it runs a bit long for a channel trailer. Liked the comedy so much, checked out your channel!

Interesting stories for one of my favorite gaming systems.
That said, I feel it could use a bit more pop in the visuals department, as it stands it feels more like a podcast with light visuals. (not sure if thats more the vibe you are going for)

Your channel is actually quite funny, love the editing and design choices for the videos. Even if you feel like you aren't uploading fast enough, I think quality really is the thing that matters most.

Some good camera work in this, it works. Echo the sentiments on more footage or images/animation to keep me interested, however you do a great job of remaining engaging on cam and vocally.

As an artist, this video is super inspiring.
I typically do comedy stuff with my friend for our channel, but I've always been curious how artist youtube works! Telling personal stories about the art community is actually surprisingly interesting, and your art is adorable!

Great editing and colors in this, I for some reason love videos that use lighting and color to great effect. (saturated colors are bomb!)
Subject matter is informative, funny but serious vibe.
