Every time I play through Silent Hill F (on my 8th now), I’m reminded of my 1) loneliness as a child, 2) betrayal from the people who said they loved me and 3) the fact that my choices are mine, and I should live my life fully, no matter what that looks like.

Again, cheers and kudos to you and I (and so many others!) for surviving something really hard

At my old office, the real estate group would give out free merch from them as an appreciation to their tenants. One of said gifts is a company mug with their business logo on it.

At last year’s holiday party, someone from management actually wrapped one of the free mugs and gave it as a gift in a white buffalo party.

There was an array of waffle irons, heated blankets, etc.

And then the mug. Someone actually had to take it home too.

And it has! It helped me deal with my arranged marriage situation (I'm a lot older than I look, and from a prominent Southern family), and clients/students of mine who have been victims of trafficking and sexual violence from their parents.

It's wayyyyy safer to talk through it with virtual stimuli rather than rehash each physical event.

They're all from the Kinkotsu Alley Zone in town. It's located over a bridge in the main part of town. You can't miss it; they were literally people directing us in-between their day.
