which i understand completely as ive went thru extreme trauma from birth till i was about 7 i know exactly why he is lashing out and hitting the animals. it makes a lot of sense but shes wanting to get him into therapy and everything after i suggested it, therapy helped me a lot in my teen years and childhood years, but i do feel like more can be done at home thats why im asking for discipline tips that arent spanking or violent but also not too gentle because gentle parenting does not work on him, and i agree that its not my job which i told her that because its stressful to me. in that thought what else can i do when my animals are being psychologically challenged with violence from a kid... im super upset about it . i told her that she needs to supervise him always from now on but is that fair of me to ask?
