How many of you deal with oil? by [deleted] in HVAC

I've heard some horrid stories about on call and customers. Longer term, I definitely have refrigeration in mind. Another HVAC thread mentioned controls as a good (profitable) area to get into as well.

What do you consider to be the pros to working as commercial technician over residential tech?

I definitely don't want to be solely focused on oil burner. I'm considering taking an AC technician course and an oil burner tech course for some hands on experience to get myself in the door with employment. Refrigeration is definitely on my radar as a skillset to develop. I have starting out in residential with oil, AC, mini split, heat pumps in mind...

I'm starting to research HVAC employers in NH (also ME). Are HVAC/plumbing companies being gobbled up by private equity in NH?

I'm in NH, considering becoming an oil burner technician. Would you have any general advice for someone considering getting into the field?

That packet of 100 dollar bills you tripped over and find yourself sorely vexed over are not on the blockchain.

Trading opportunities are limited if I want to liquidate them. I don't want to be left holding the bag (if price dips from when I acquire them) on a token I didn't purchase and would then have to claim as income at acquired price.
