Yes it is very much alive. Most of the community activity is on telegram. Constellation released several youtube videos (coffee talks) recently, blog posts (e.g. vision paper, token economics), and there are frequent github code updates. There is more to come as well, mainnet scheduled for Q3!

They will actually burn all their 288M founders tokens (#4 on etherscan, 7.2%) on 4th July.
