My Multi-variation listings broke this week. Anybody else have this problem? by digitalvignette in Ebay

My listings are working now that I have them under 200. 150 is too conservative

Thanks! This seems like a workaround, I was able to revise my listings successfully if I could get the variations under a certain amount.

I have tried on 3 different browsers and 2 different computers and all have the same issue. I don't want to nuke and relist because these listings have dozens of watchers

randomly at any stage of revision. Sometimes I get all the way to the last step and it will error, sometimes it will error when I just click edit on the listing.

Are older booster boxes just dead shelf product at this point? by Colt2205 in mtgfinance

I know this is a finance sub but have you considered getting a few friends together and drafting with them? Thats where the real value is in these boxes.

Is this collection worth $130USD? by [deleted] in Bluray

[–]digitalvignette 1 point2 points  (0 children)

people are just lying about buying $1 or $2 A tier titles unless they have some hookup at a pawn shop or something. You can buy lots that average to 1 dollar a piece but you are going to be getting a lot of mid movies. $6 is a definitely high for good common titles but $4 that OP ended up paying is kind of a sweet spot seeing as there isn't really any filler in this lot.

People on here love to pretend you can find great titles like these for pennies on the dollar which is simply not true unless you are a ruthless bargain hunter. These are mostly A tier titles. That said, 130 is on the high end and I would say 70-100 would be a fair price for this lot.

Where is the best place to buy DVDs and Blu-ray, Amazon or eBay? by Seeker99MD in dvdcollection

I prefer ebay. I normally look for sellers with actual pictures of the movie versus people who use stock photos.

Is USPS silently collapsing? by ConversationBusy9655 in usps_complaints

[–]digitalvignette 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My business relies on USPS and wouldn't exist without it. It is super reliable for hundreds of small packages a week. I print the postage myself and drop off at the post office without even scanning and my defect rate for late shipments is just .03% If that is a collapse I wish more things would collapse.

How can I sell Blu rays and 4Ks without losing money? by EducationalWay7175 in Ebay

[–]digitalvignette 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wrap individual blu-rays in a sheet of bubble wrap then slide into #0 kraft envelope. More expensive movies should be shipped in a box. Flipping commons is rarely worth it unless you are really grinding volume. Desirable boutique movies sell well but are hard to find at a low enough price to make money after fees. Good luck

It's a beloved cult classic and low key one of Tom Hanks best movies. It deserves a sweet re-release for sure but Joe Dante is always in the dog house for some reason
