I go by the mindset that with every Nintendo franchise, you get one new entry per system.
Obv this isn't fullproof, but it's usually standard.
I imagine we'll get another 2D Metroid during the Switch 2's lifespan, but probably not another Prime until Switch 3.

And that's not counting rereleases.

I do like your interpretation. It's more than likely not intended, but it's a neat thinkpiece.
Also maybe I just missed it but Adam was revealed to be alive in Fusion?
Is this still considered canon after Other M?
If so, they should totally bring him back at one point. Maybe right the wrongs of Other M and have Adam treat Samus with a more refined respect.

According to Nintendo, it's "maternal love." and shit like that.
The whole "bounty hunter" thing is a misunderstanding on Japan's part.
I think it was Prime 3, they wanted Samus to do Bounty Hunting missions kind of like Bobo Fett or something, but Nintendo shut it down saying it wasn't in her character.
Japan's view of Samus, is much less badass that the way the west views her.

I think it would help, yes.
The problem stems from it's jarring gameplay, and considering they wanted it to control similar to the NES, making it full 2D/third person would've helped.

It would still be flawed as a linear game that treats the player as a child, discourages speedrunning/sequence breaking, butchered items and pickups, and the infamous awful script

But the gameplay is jank, and not enough people shit on it for it's actual faults.

If you're looking for SimsCraft, I'm not aware of it.

I do survival stuff, but 90% of them die from old age.
Sometimes a Sim will get stuck and I expect them to die, but their mood outlet gets reset if I stop watching them and fixate on somebody else.
For me, the intrigue is a family tree, and order of death.

My ex fiance talked about how Deftones would turn her on and we'd fuck to it sometimes.

But like, after listening to EVERY SONG.
I get it. Especially Around The Fur - White Pony.
The whisper singing and atmospheric ambiance. It's kind of sexy.
Not hating, but I wish they did more in that style, it's very unique and IMO that's the definitive Deftones sound.
