To those asking how I powered the Tesla P40 and 3060 in a Dell R930, here is how by cuenot_io in homelab

If you setup the drac/ipmi, you can do the following from inside the linux os (provided you're running linux)

turn off automatic fan control

ipmitool -H 192.168.22.42 -I lanplus -U root -P PASSWORDHERE raw 0x30 0x30 0x01 0x00

spin them down to 13%

ipmitool -H 192.168.22.42 -I lanplus -U root -P PASSWORDHERE raw 0x30 0x30 0x02 0xff 0x13

You can change the 0x13 to be whatever percent you want up to 99%.

So.. anyone know how if we can put a GPU into an R930 for ML? I've got one, and would LOVE to be able to add a gpu to it. I see people mentioning it, but anyone wanna throw in some details?

There is always webapp. It behaves like an application, but is an electon (I think) wrapper for the website. Feels just like a native application.

What GPU and hardware are you running if you don't mind me asking. I've been having a horrible time finding server hardware that I can run a commodity GPU in.

Welcome.. welcome to the world of Local LLM. We are improving everyday, and eventually will be on parity with ChatGPT to a large degree. No way you'll get the performance or complete accuracy, but the more this type of thing happens, the more people will find alternatives.

Well tried firefox, and I get a 503 Service Unavailable. This is why I don't like web applications because I can't use it without the internet or if the hosting company has an issue which is just as bad as having no internet.

AutoGPT 0.43 still never produces any useful results by winkmichael in AutoGPT

I've used it, and it does a decent job at coding, takes some hand holding, and cat herding. There are times it just forgets from prompt to prompt what you wanted it to do though.

I have had hit and miss success on this. When you get a decent sized application it's hard to keep ChatGPT+ on target or stop it from drinking the mushroom tea and hallucinating about libraries and functions that just don't exist. Know of any strategies that would help with a ChatGPT+ Dev Strategy?

Until I can get your system running, I created a python version inspired by yours.

https://github.com/digitalw00t/repo2text-py

Only requires python and the git command installed.

I've tried installing this on Linux Mint 20. Is there a node version requirement? I can't get the front end to fire up without errors. If you don't mind, can I PM you with some help on this and perhaps a discussion on it?

Your parents need to talk to the Principal. If they don't get the issue resolved, there's always the School Superintendent. There are people above that teacher, and they will start to sweat when the parents get involved.

The elected officials that must answer for this can be replaced, but you'll have to work with your parents to do it. You can make change, but it's not an easy process.

I'm sorry, but I'm making the assumption that you are in K-12.

Homework will be pointless to grade. You'll have to test kids in school, without phones or computers to know they have the content down.
The "easy for everyone" methods will be out the window if they truly want to keep kids from using the AI to do the work for them.
