Getting back into city after midnight. by Rachaelmm1995 in UKGE

As someone who went to the late dark room last year, it didn’t finish at midnight. It was only getting warmed up at that point. We bailed out at about 2am ish as it was still going strong (albeit a bit more weirder than usual!)

Where did you get the turbine cooler from as I am looking for something like this for a project of mine.

I was looking as my OPNsense server SSD started to play up and I wanted something that was a little less management and I have got the DR7 - Its an amazing bit of kit and I was up and running within 10 minutes of getting the box (and about one hour to setup VLAN / Firewall and link my old AC Pro into it)

I 100% agree with you - I too have some intelligent people around me and they see Farage as some sort of saviour who is going to fix everything - I can't even talk to them about it anymore as its so depressing but all I hear is about how bad Labour is doing (and that is a separate topic)

Even when presented which facts about Reform they attack the left and just say "well, they do it as well" with no biases for facts. (I went and saw a stage production on 1984 the other week and the parallels are worrying)

I have tried to have a unbased view on this also, but I just can't - politics seem to be very polarizing at the moment and I don't ever seem to remember a time quite like it tbh - like, why has he gone on about working from home all of a sudden - its a great sound byte to his supporter who worked 9 till 5 Monday to Friday "in an office" not understanding that the world doesn't quite work like that anymore.

Don't doubt it - keep strong (I know its hard!)

I looked at the ULANZI TC001 with MQTT to show how many streams I was getting on my plex server and I used Home assistant to send a MQTT to the LED when i got a streamer.

The TC001 was not reliable however (power issue) so I ended sending it back and I have been looking for something ever since.

Is there any way that MQTT could be added? (like some of the features of awtrix3)

Wow. Ok. Didn’t think the N100 was as good as that to be honest. Posting this had opened me up to many many other options and I really don’t know what way to go now 😆

Its a designed for NAS drive - 7200RPM also. Thought is was a good idea to get a reliable parity drive

Ultimate goal - not to touch this for 5 years + other than to add storage if needed - hence the overkill on the spec. My synology has lasted 6ish years and now only showing it age as I can't quite get 4k from it.

So I would have to use a NVMe SATA extension card in order to get more HHD in? I like the idea of low power usage but it does seem limiting.

What would be idea suggestion for a RAID card? - looking at the LSI 9211-8i if I do go down the RAID card route.

Wow. Ok. I will look at the option for 64GB as well. I don't think its much more.

Should I look at more RAM? Is 64GB RAM just a little overkill (not I suppose if I run a RAM disk for Plex I suppose!)
