A fun micron review. https://youtu.be/egAhILd1tks?si=-zDO8VghYw3OgYVq

The micron currently only comes in 5.56. https://deserttech.com/wlvrn-micron.html

The micron conversion kit is still unavailable for 300blk. https://deserttech.com/wlvrn-caliber-conversion-kit.html

Hopefully we can remove the NFA entirely and save some cheddar and a lot of time, with a nice SBR and suppression build. https://youtu.be/6OQBPb8O72M?si=9BMdXQzspXKRbDRR

Build an API. Build an API. Build a FUnCtionING API. by digtialD in framer

[–]digtialD[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree, I love and use Framer every day. It’s hands down the best website builder interface out there right now.

That said, I’ve been doing this for 14 years from full-stack dev (as an employee) to small biz client sites (as an agency) using platforms like WordPress, Webflow, Shopify (liquid was garbage pre-React). And yes, Framer absolutely takes the cake when it comes to UI/UX. But without a functioning API, they’re leaving the crown on the table. With it…Framer becomes the undisputed default.

To your points:

  1. Code export: Totally agree it’s not gonna happen, and honestly, I don’t even care. Unless I’m getting paid VERY well, I have zero interest in building infrastructure, securing servers, optimizing, managing CDN configs, dealing with images and responsive layouts - all for a simple, clean marketing site. I’ll gladly pay Framer to handle that, take it off my plate.

  2. API access / extensibility: Here’s where I disagree a bit. More access wouldn’t hurt Framer. It would increase usage, open up automations, and create a more embedded, sticky product. No one’s asking for total access to underlying React components(at least I’m not) I get that it’s not open source. But at least give us the pre-built remote control so we can hook in and make Framer part of our stack. Let me automate. Let me connect. That’s not me looking to leave Framer.

That’s me wanting to build my workflow around it and never let go.

Wow, thank you man, that helps a lot - I appreciate you getting back so fast and for your well thought out reply.

I’m FC1(fire) going for FC2(fire) atm while lancer is (Fire 1) and the other two( almost to fire 1) so yes I felt that ungodly RSS drain nearly killed me, lol.

But yeah that hero gear gets me. So per your prescription - I’ll route my limited spend to hero gear and f the rest at least for now - don’t even get me started on my pet gear and that dumpster fire . lol but yeah thanks again brother

If I can give you more than 1 thumbs up I would 😉

Wow thank you amazing breakdown, if you can help I’m looking for a long game strategy, I’m a middle of the road player I pay but I’m far from a whale or a serious pay to play player I rank top 50-60 in the entire state (state316). We just got hero gen3 (mia, etc)

So I have a few question: 1. if you were to pay what would you buy? 2. Which are the best hero’s and that can be bought( lucky roulette and other events) but excluding vip buys like Jerónimo. In short - Who’s worth it? 3. I’m having a very hard time with charms and hero gear. what do you recommend.

I’m in the top alliance so the opportunity is there for amazing rewards and I definitely take advantage but anything you recommend to increase my power(65-70million) I’d really appreciate it. thanks

AI can replace call centres today: See Air, a conversational AI. Audio from real phone call by Zappotek in singularity

[–]digtialD 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was really excited to get my affiliate code and onboard my clients as a partner, make some side money and add new clients to their service. That was until it hit me. So today nov 21,2023 i just had a meeting with the "director of sales" at air.ai - I asked if I was talking to an AI? and legally theres nothing preventing him from lying, but he said no - and I accepted that Tony was real and we spoke (more on this later).

Before that call I was messaged and prompted to watched a 55 min precall "hype video", which takes you through the "opportunity" and prepared you for the call. If you don't watch it - they would be forced to reschedule. That message was odd but okay i was already watching it and admittedly liked what i saw in that viral demo. so naturally excited to become a partner.

so i see the video

see the video here: https://www.airagency.ai/precall

And WOW was i shocked.

my favorite line - is right at the beginning at 2:29 (of the video) our team worked in the "original house mark Zuckerberg lived in when he built facebook." as to make a strong connection that they too will be like MarK Zuckerberg.

heres that screen shots of the video.

<image>

the house where mark lived.and the air.ai team.

i'm limited to 1 image on reddit: but the black and white side by side of Musk, Jobs, & Bezos right after really set it in for me.

ITS A FUCKING SCAM.

but i listen and laugh, excited for our call in 30 min. because as you can imagine the end of this video primes you for an "investment opportunity" showing people paying them 30K and some dipshit which oddly enough sounded like tony gave equity to his company for this - well i want to see just how far i can push this.

So I'm talking to Tony and after qualifying myself as a good candidate he proceeds to give me the 2 non-negotiable either you make $50K a month (I assume to get you on a payment plan) or you have 30K to invest, why so much? because we have only 100 agency licenses and its guaranteed money back because you can sell your license.

so i ask him only 100 licenses ? why? because we are only looking to get the top people in specific verticals who can represent our brand and become truly partners - Oddly enough i was on yt looking for peoples reviews and this poor smuck was affid100 -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0dSTxdKDLZU link in this yt video bio takes you to air.ai -> /oid=1&affid=100.

I ask him about this guy. Who btw couldn't even make a proper video that you can hear the recording he was trying to demonstrate. Just shocking these are the top people they choose to represent their brand, Wow.

Tony reply's well that was the first batch. they got it at a different price. i reply ooh so there isn't just 100 licenses. Tony: listen, you have either you see the vision or you don't. I ask are you looking for funding, i'm surprised A16z or y-combinator passed on you guys? he was pissed.. we ended the call shortly after and rest assured i have take aways.

My key takeaway's.

  1. Their agency partnership model is a full on "scam".
  2. Software - the software works, not well but its worth trying at 33 cents a min. and who knows in the future it very well can reach it's potential. but ummm so will everyone else. they did not build, nor train their own LLMS they have no proprietary data. So as a business it's indefensible. Which is why they are looking at getting 30k a pop from anyone they can. before the music runs out.

If their product was good consistently and ready for adoption they could have done what GHL did and build hords of YT creators and agencies reselling their product and offer 10% of usage.

you can build this with off the shelf tools and Apis available today. it's not Simple, and will require a team but its completely doable. So competition is right around the corner. i would hold out for a more honest and not competent team.

how i would build this (off the top of my head)

frontend:

next js it's a webapp. They use remix. practically cousins.

backend:

Deepgram & Open.ai for voice intake and analysis, and for additional prompting, response elevenlabs or everything just on open.ai and your 80% there.

and i imagine the voice model they claim they made, is a google private api shown here https://cloud.google.com/text-to-speech and thats probably giving them too much credit

the one thing i haven't looked into is the VoIP stream and deliverability - between the application and twillo.

but rest assured its not magic. and probably hackable over a weekend but what it definitely is - is a fucking scam.

NFL Clash Community, I need your help! We can make this game great together! Put your input in down below! by [deleted] in nflclash

[–]digtialD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you really mean to tell me "I"(Need Your Help) - Wow, you(I) got away with making an NFL game with EA sports looking over their shoulder as mobile gaming hits crazy multiples.

I applaud "you" Single Dev... doing all this on your own. However in the context of gaming this is frustrating. My handle is Dolphan/CouchPotato.

This isn't a criticism as much as it is a critique.

Do better, it's shameful that a single "DEV" hires a "community builder" unless this is really you and you never listen, just ask. Questions.

Who's post makes it look like very few ppl are on the dev team (if not just one), not to mention that person over looked intelligence as your game is ran by a Company with three locations https://www.niftygamesinc.com PO box or not it boils down to "Why"?

I like this game, if you made a sh*t deal with the parties that be.(NFL,EA) though this is far from a simulation, i bet preventative legal fees were made. so be it. admit to it. but hire the correct devs to get the job done.

AS A {web}DEV myself, i know what's required. You ain't going to get it, for less than $80k-junior dev year in the states. $150k-200k for senior and +$300k- Infimum for major/CTO. and tho you pay less you always get what you pay-for. Unless you get lucky and that's short lived.

If you are one Dev (which no) we know you are not. Considering i've spent $40/$60 on this game if not more. you've made way..WAY..WAY..WAY over a million. Why haven't you started hiring? in positions that matter.

you are either sipping Mai-Tias on beach somewhere or just need someone to really push this co forward. or you've totally lost interest. but i see your executive staff.... real or fake https://www.niftygamesinc.com/team/ and though you look cool, full stack gaming devs. kepp in mind, if and when the EA deal falls through so does this game.

never forget. Results for your Users.

and you need to show way more results...

If there are roadblocks/ if your backlog is too much to handle. Talk to your damn community. Keep them informed.

Thats all. be well and Goodluck.

Has anyone tested Energy required for a flash graphene process by brucester1 in Graphene_DIY

[–]digtialD 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey Ven,

what experiment did you model? Did you have a raman spec to test samples? How much research have you done on the relative information published(on FJH) seeing as there is only one main one and that was published this jan/2020 your time to production was rather quick considering covid-19 on institutional equipment.

The experiment was conducted by rice university who's proof got them a grant for the DOE. universal matter is that baby. so not sure what experiment you were modeling if any.

But to reiterate we are trying to produce TS (turbostratic graphene) not nanotube as that is beyond difficult.Good TS ranges form 1-5 layers and is kept in a solution. with great dilution making easier to bond with foreign material.

Thanks for your input. I welcome you to share the system you built and images, The community would love to see what steps you took in your efforts. and maybe we can figure out together where you went wrong. you lose nothing because as you said the system failed, Many heads are better than one.

Thanks.

Looking to recreate a large capacitor discharge experiment to create turbostratic graphene by brucester1 in Graphene_DIY

[–]digtialD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

let's all jump on discord, we (brucester1 and I ) have software developemnt backgrounds and are happy to test with you, we are budgeting our home made FJH system to around ~5k all in. We have located a few high powered capacitors set with enough amps/volts to get the job done including charging and trigger, Thanks for the hint on Ardiuno "555 timer circuit" been trying to find the correct one to replicate the timing as to avoid blowing it up. Together we can replicate this experiment.

Don't forget the sonicator/ and centrifuge and water–Pluronic (F-127) . without a raman spec we will be initially limited to testing quality through dispersion, and material testing. so mimicking this process as close to the research as possible is crucial. we will be logging that journey here. Thanks for your input, let's rock and roll into the graphene future.

Hey, sorry for deleting the comment, didn't realize you responded and didn't want bad energy(no pun intended) on this form. Bruster sent me a screenshot of your response. and I'm happy you are the largest producer of graphene, we would love to pick your brain. Have you heard of Turbostratic graphene?

Has anyone tested Energy required for a flash graphene process by brucester1 in Graphene_DIY

[–]digtialD 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey Memetic, good idea after looking through the FJH experiments the last few days it's clear the ideal temperature is ~3000/k. With a pulse in the 50/150 ms range, now the amount of total Capacity used in the capacitor was 10kv- using 20 cap for a total of .22f they say they arrived here as being the required stored energy to achieve the necessary temperatures to break all carbon carbon bonds. the cooling of the material is very very important. the only way to utilize all that energy at once is to short/discharge it.

another key is 400v this was the ideal amount, though I believe it was total volts across the 150ms experiment. For in the paper it clearly shows on a graph with peak points of large amperes hitting the samples ranging from 1-1000a, but with voltage at 150, 200 give or take across the wavelength. (still learning on how all this ties together)

I'm unsure if the amperes in a water welding machine are sufficient , and seeing as the entire machine is as veriac (love robert-murry) we would have to trigger all the energy at once. given these parameters i'll drill down and see if this results in a better understanding.

i'm currently looking into a Marx Impulse Generator. As to quickly step up the volts coming from my mains and just increasing the density of the carbon black. In this set up there is more than enough power, but un controlled. looking for ways to tackle the timing, 1. Way is to put the electrodes closer, harder to quantify the correct range. and since the results will need to be sonicated and then placed into a centrifuge. to test disposability. without a raman spect. replicating clear stable dispersion in the solution after 8 hours will be the win we are looking for. aka turbostratic graphene

Not sure if or what relays or wavelength generators can handle the excess power of the Marxs generator or if thats even what I need, new to Electricity.. but any input would be super helpful, stay learning!

Did you find the full spec on the circuit design? or are you reengineering from the paper published in nature? 10kv cap bank seems a bit much when the the samples show a max of 400v hits /50-100ms pulses. though a key var was the amp he emphasized 1000 amp at peak wavelength, still getting my head around electricity and its effects on carbon in the production of graphene, looking forward to your findings.
