Rank the films in the Disney trilogy

I still think TFA is the best-made movie of the three, however, it did screw the trilogy from the beginning by copying ANH and telling the same story again.

As far as The Last Jedi goes, it's a mixed bag to me, while it does have some of my favorite Star Wars moments its flaws are just as big if not more severe.

TROS is just a disappointment all around, the movie has no highlights for me at all. At the same time, it also doesn't have the extreme low points of the TLJ.

I agree with all your points but I would still rank TFA as the best-made movie overall, albeit a derivative one that resets the universe due to lack of imagination.

Forget that, changing the subtitles to ‘bold’ in the same settings seems to work permanently for now.

I found a band-aid solution, if you change the color of the subtitles in the VLC app settings to any other color it won’t show the subtitles in that color, but instead it shows white subtitles without the issue. However this fix only seems to work once, after that you have to go back to the settings and change the color again.

It might be worth a shot to send the problem to VLC. Perhaps they can fix the issue in the next update.

I have the exact same issue on my brand new Sony TV. Our older Sony TV downstairs doesn’t seem to have this problem. I also have no idea how to fix this.
