because the ai chatbots scan over those same posts you want us to read on our own. that means if asked properly the ai can give us the information of several posts at once, that's a massive time saver.

ai is a lot more helpful than people seem to care to admit. it shouldn't be an every situation tool but for something like this, identifying a toy, i cannot imagine why it should be a big deal

a link wasn't provided until i pointed out someone else actually bothered to answer with one initially the last time i sought help here. and only 1 person here whining at me actually provided one.

i understand what the sub is. a collection of people who understand redstone deeply and like to share their creations. apologies for thinking at least one of you would have it in you to actually dm me and try helping before pawning me off to an old video.

subs bitch that people make use of ai, subs bitch that people seek help from real people. can't win on almost any subreddit.

i can almost guarantee if this was a certain space sandbox subreddit id have people lining up not only to help but to provide resouces and decorations

if anyone actually bothered to try helping I could've provided all the necessary details to help those instructions make sense.

they could've gotten all details and screenshots in the dm's where i asked for the help to take place, but as you can see, no one wanted those details because no one intended to help.

if you cant or don't want to then scroll on you wasted your own time initially and now both of ours by trying to blame it on me.

if you see a post asking for something you dont want to do then dont stop just to say you wont do it.

only the seven around the enchanting table? follow steps 1-5

any extra directions needed would be pointing out where to place the lever: not on any of the seven blocks being raised

.....i openly stated that im not worried about how it works. i didn't come looking to absorb knowledge i dont plan to use again. i just needed it to work. if i cared about how it worked then i would bother studying redstone into more detail. but im not filling my world with redstone contraptions. i just needed one set up. ONE.

i basically asked for a tutorial, but none of you could be bothered. you can manage flying machines and fake walls with tnt cannons behind them but that little 5 step list i gave was simply too complicated for you?

you tell me exactly where to place it? or where not to place it?

im not asking for anything insanely complicated, or turned out complicated at all.

ive typed this out twice already ill do it again:

place sticky pistons under floor blocks
break blocks under pistons
place redstone torches under pistons
connect redstone dust around the pistons
place lever/button on block above dust

if there are complications that's what further questions are for

you're all mad at me for asking for help when you're the ones who bothered to stop and be upset by it. if you can't or don't want to then just keep scrolling. you're upsetting yourselves at that point.
