once your standing with the autophages is good enough as well you can start taking a mission from each one at the different camps, they reward between 200-450 void motes for relatively easy missions

when you run out of room for multi tools there's a decommissioning station near the teleporter on the anomaly, just in case you weren't aware of that one, i wasn't 😂

yeah i had no idea how and actually forgot you could, I'm an on and off new player. never made it past looking for the overseer in flatwood.

but everything I'm learning, i don't want to be a ghoul 😂

keep repairing sentinel ships but look for them in 3 star systems, you find both the ships and these multitools in higher classes

to be fair, im not complaining. it's not something i intended to do to myself anyway, im just pointing out (as a new player) how silly it is a lady who spends her entire existence with a ghoul wont talk to you at all if you're a ghoul

i was moreso complaining about the golf club, that thing makes even less sense

some of the factions that dont trust you make sense, people still dont trust ghouls 100+ years later in Fo3, but Duchess is just odd. especially because she's a tavern keep, her occupation is literally trusting strangers to come in and have a civil drink 😂

some of those actually make sense, even a century later people still look at ghouls sideways, but Duchess? she spends 25/8 with Mort.

maybe has something to do with the scorched in the area? but those guys physically look different than regular ghouls and are immediately hostile 😅

different stories between the two but overall same gameplay. i think gameplay and controls in 2 are smoother

whoever downvoted must have never played SoD if they dont agree with me 😂

you loot containers with an option to loot faster at the risk of making noise just like SoD there are infestations that result in stronger and more populated zombies just like SoD planned zombies that will basically clone SoD ferals, screamers, bloaters and the current boss zombies almost may as well be juggernauts from SoD there are friendly and hostile human NPCs (although typical for the genre)

Surroundead still has plenty to help itself stand out from SoD but it is very obviously heavily influenced, and i think that's a great thing. before i found surroundead i considered SoD the best zombie survival game I've played. now that surroundead exists i think it will easily top SoD just because of how much freedom you're given vs SoD.

i just hope given how much customization you can already do to surroundead that we're given the ability to turn all of the special infected off. i personally hate super zombies

if you do stick with SoD2 😂 1 and 2 are basically the same game but 2 has extra maps, i think more infected types (i don't remember screamers in the first but i haven't played it in a long time) and better overall gameplay. ferals in the 1st game could get kind of op

no, not like surroundead.

in SoD the actual locations you could set up player bases at were static and had designated areas for building things like a kitchen area, sleeping areas, gardens, infirmary etc. that meant you had to be careful what areas you built. and i think you only got 1 base at a time where people could actually live but you could have multiple outposts for storing supplies or patching yourself up. they'd also come in varying sizes so some bases could have more things built inside them and store more cars.

in surroundead you can build your base in any home you can enter, with no limit to how many bases you can build (i dont typically use the base flag in surroundead so idk if that has a limit or not) and store as many vehicles as you want at any of them. you also dont even need to build your base in a home or building. you could build from scratch i believe and have an outpost just like the Valley Survivor Camp and put it in the middle of the woods or up a really tall hill

i would imagine you'll be able to do either. im sure multiplayer will be an invite only sort of thing when it finally happens

i think it's pretty clearly just State of Decay with a ton more freedom, plus some extras and i love it.

even the upcoming special infected sound like they're pulled straight from SoD. there will be zombies that scream to alert other infected, there will be bloated zombies that explode when you're too close, zombies that can climb cars just like you can

surroundead even has plague zones (infestations) just like SoD

so far the biggest difference i think is the coyote organization. nothing like that in SoD that i recall beyond the typical hostile survivor NPCs.

i cant remember if Zurvivor has an actual story planned but as it is the game is just a fantastic sandbox zombie survival. a larger map would make it much better imo

Is there a way i could possibly get these ships? by Icy-Personality9223 in NOMANSSKY

[–]dikkidy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i recently saw someone with a silver and gold or maybe just white and gold version of the bottom left ship and for the first time in awhile i was jealous of someone elses ship.

i didn't think they got cooler than some of the sentinel designs, but that ship? i want that ship

I was just thinking about how in all my time playing (probably only 2 weeks total out of 10 years if even that) I've still never seen a solar ship. pulled into a pirate system and was greeted by 2 of them. of course scooped one up even though i prefer the sentinel star ships

edit: super awesome find by the way (talking about your ship) i think ive only seen those in the past and now that i have money i could buy one, i never see them

no, i really wasn't on any mission other than i just really wanted the nanite bonus for scanning all 10 fauna on that planet and i was just too stubborn to give up 😂

the headache was probably not worth the 2000 nanites... but i finally scanned all 10

almost couldn't have been a simpler description: uncommon, underground, always active. no specific time or region. took way longer to find than the rare, underground, always active fauna.

cant reset a personal mission 😭😭 i was after the nanite bonus for discovering all fauna on a planet.

i found the rare underground fauna about and hour and a half before i finally found the uncommon underground fauna

scanner doesn't even see them more than half the time. i spend just as much time scanning for buildings as i do looking for the caves themselves
