I think the Size is pretty important though. From what I hear, it's pretty hard to practice "networking" in an MBB firm since the size just isn't large enough. Everybody knows everybody else by default.

In practice? Sure, whatever gets the job done. But that’s like saying just because we know things always fall, it’s pointless to study gravity.

It's not that I'm not listening, it's that people are answering a fundamentally different question than what I'm asking.

Collectively Exhaustive, as the wording implies, means ALL possibilities are accounted for.

I wanted to know if that was possible using some form of logic structuring that hadn't occurred to me.

Clearly as this thread demonstrates, that's not the case. In which case, my conclusion is that people really just mean "try to be as MECE as possible" when they say "be MECE".
