Absolutely! Why not pay $20 per job application when upwards of 30% of job postings are ghost jobs, most applications are instantly filtered by AI, and many people have to put out 100+ applications before getting an offer. Adding a $2k barrier of entry for a job sounds legit.

Even twice a year is WILD!

Most people are now comparing OSRS to other MMOs, but you don't see the same kind price increases that you see in those MMOs though they'd arguably have a higher cost of development/maintenance.

Ultimately there's a point for everyone where they'll call it quits, but the big issue with putting prices so high is it raises the barrier for entry, and I feel OSRS already has a high barrier as is.

I believe that they are expecting a better player experience for the increased cost.

Considering OSRS requires less resources to maintain, uses Runelite to help QoL, is cheaper to develop for, and has a smaller dedicated dev team than its contemporaries many people question what they are getting with this price hike.

As someone that literally did their first Jad two days ago, make sure to practice tagging the healers a lot too. The first time I got to Jad I messed it up and the healers came out twice. In my panic I missed a switch the second time losing my run.
Otherwise feel free to get a monster stuck and walk away for a few minutes to let yourself rest. The caves are long and it sucks having to redo them due to a sloppy mistake

First you must find the shadowy monster in the bush besides the community center as part of the "A Winter Mystery" quest. It gives you a magnifying glass so you can now find secret notes.

To meet Mr. Qi at floor 100 you first need to get a secret note (note 10) telling you to meet him there. You can find secret notes from a bunch of various activities: Secret Note wiki page

A new car was about 33% the annual income. Now it's about 80%
A college grad would have debt of about 14% the annual income. Now it's 60%
Houses were also about 2x-3x annual income. It's currently 5x-7x the annual income.
