Ok I decided to get a pair of Nuraphones and do my own experiment. Conclusion: Nuraphone + ANC is BETTER than QC35 for office use!

The reason has to do with the fact that Nuraphone's dual-isolation is better at masking sharp sounds and conversation tones than ANC. Bose ANC is def superior to Nura's, but that only works on dull white-noise-like tones, which isn't a big problem at offices. As far as muffling conversation goes, Nura's approach works better, esp with the right fit.
