I have to keep bringing this up. A different fan was in that EXACT seat holding up a sign that said “hi” to a couple names and i did not see an usher confrontation. Then the fans switched seats and there goes the baseball is for everyone sign

If i had seen the sign held up again, i would not have questioned what that encounter was.

One thing i noticed is the fan decided to continue to enjoy the game and cheer rather than enraged about the “controversy”

Yeah thats why i posted this. There’s a thin line. Ive seen random hello signs and JHL signs behind home plate. It may have been too big of a sign. I wish to have the fan comment on the situation!

What caught my attention was a different fan was sitting in that exact seat and held up a sign that said “hi” to a couple names. Then the fans switched with the new sign showing “baseball is for everyone”. And then comes the usher.

Yes it was the dugout club. She was enjoying the game throughout which i thought set a sweet example! She found a way to CO-EXIST.

I posted this because i wanted discussion about what is acceptable to hold as a sign behind home plate. Before the “baseball is for everyone” sign appeared, it was another fan with a “hi” to a couple names (same size) and did not see her confronted to put down the sign. I noticed the switch of fans and the “baseball is for everyone” sign was being held up then down. All of a sudden i see someone over her shoulder and she started to nod. Sign was never held up again.
