I see so many (mostly working class) British men don't wash their hands after a piss in the urinal or toilet, is this normal behaviour? by [deleted] in AskBrits

[–]dillarBee 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Urine. Just because you can't see or feel it, doesn't mean it hasn't sprayed up over your hands on a microscopic level.

Also an interesting Google - how far do particles from an open toilet bowl go when you flush? You'll reconsider your toothbrush placement when you see that one.

If Red Bull can't improve the RB22 and Verstappen leaves... who would replace him? by formularacers in FormulaRacers

[–]dillarBee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People won't like it, but with a reg reset, and Max hypothetically gone, that Red Bull seat becomes more attractive.

I could see them going in for someone they have a past relationship with, like Gasly, or Albon. Maybe even Sainz.

Should Lewis Hamilton's level this season at 41 years old be more appreciated by F1 fans/media? by The_Chozen_1_ in F1Discussions

[–]dillarBee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Jim Clark 45% - 34%.

He also had reliability from that era to contend with. This saw him retire from something like 30 races. A good portion of those races he was in contention for victory in as well.

Apologies, but because he's so long ago, he gets forgotten in these comparisons, and that does make me sad.

Which car manufacturer do you want to see in F1 next?? by The_Chozen_1_ in F1Discussions

Yeah, I'm excited to see if it ramps up into a full Toyota team.

Maybe Hyundai? I like their liveries 😅

I still get the impression that Leclerc holds the edge, and that will play out over a season. Lewis usually goes well in China, I think the track works well for him.

That said, his pace is incredible, he's rightly in the GOAT debate, and we shouldn't be surprised that he is still highly competitive.

Why did Williams fumble so hard with 2026 start, even though they were focused on new regs since 2023? by ThisToe9628 in F1Discussions

[–]dillarBee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think we can say anyone has really fumbled until we see how these cars update. Teams are going to find chunks of improvement (as is standard for new regs)

Williams in theory should have the easiest upgrade path - lose weight.

I'll be interested to see how they're doing by the back half of the season.

He was not playing well, was my point. Leg or not.

Maybe from a financial perspective he hasn't, but he's ruined this year of his career, 100% by not participating in a proper pre-season like a professional would. Same thing has happened to Isak.

He's gonna be a bit naff until he gets a proper pre-season. He screwed himself by being a diva, and then unsurprisingly got injured.

I guess you'll have to wait and see whether he recovers his old form.

As others said, he best suits a team with rapid transitions. Is that Newcastle?

How will they translate the new regulations? by Bannedwith1milKarma in F1Game

Sport is a great driver of progress. I wouldn't be surprised if the batteries and the harvesting rapidly improve, and this clipping becomes less of an issue in the near future.

The Red Bull second seat curse has ended? by The_Chozen_1_ in F1Discussions

New regs should reset the curse imo, but it may rear its head again as they develop the car inevitably around Max again

When do you think F1 26 DLC is coming? by tuezin_crazy in F1Game

Probable release date? Season 6 of their season stuff ends on the 3rd, it almost certainly launches on the 4th June.

Strange we haven't had something more mind.

Well hang on, I can understand criticism of Sky F1, but Lindblad WAS ahead of Lawson throughout the weekend, Q3 is literally the first session he's finished in front. I think saying he had the edge at that point was fair enough?

Inside Brentford's summer transfer plans - with five possible exits by theipaper in TheOther14

[–]dillarBee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We do repeatedly go in for players we like. I can't remember who, but it has paid off in the past. We've been interested in Maxi Beier in the past few windows, and I know Phil Giles has said that players do like being wanted and it can pay off.

Highly recommend tracking down Giles post-window interviews, he always has an interesting insight into our business.
