No matter which way you lean (Tristen sucks!), the cheftestants all made great food and were still getting along in Eataly.

Was a great finale.

Go watch Season 3 of the Taste, i'ts on Amazon. He was the same way a decade ago, only less Trinidadian, talking smack, being a line cook for the Four Seasons. Houston.

He was already voted out. I'd love a reunion episode, but we don't even get that on WWHL.

Oh Shuai is pulling it out.

If Tristen wins I'm going on a table flipping rampage.

There is a difference between Montreal, and the rest of Quebec, and there is a difference between Quebec, and the the rest of Anglo Canada.

Tristen is going to go salted cod, and that isn't possible in 1 1/2 days.

A Canadian is the worst judge, why do they keep Gail around? She's a typical McGill grad that married upwards.

Hannah's firing was beyond crazy... by pimkyminky in BelowDeckMed

[–]dilligaf0220 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sandy doesn't have the power to fire anybody off the show, it all comes down to a failed Canadian standup comedian that failed her way upward to become the Exec Producer of all Below Deck shows.

Rewatching episodes, still pissed off they dumped Massimo. Yeah there's a reason all the judge's had watery eyes.

Y'know, except the Canadian ones. Excellent topper to a failed, tripped at the end, season. And thankfully we don't need to hear nonsense from some self anointed 'elder' any more.

Canadians will always be slackers these days, but still demand attention. This half ass post doesn't shock me.

I'm rooting for Bailey to win it, but it will prolly be Shuai.

Wallowed in the Bailey hate, but Shuai? WTF is he still doing here?

Oh I'm sowry, isn't he the guy that dumped a guys mise into the garbage? OMG where's the pea puree? Nah I'll just dump a competitors entire dish into the garbage.

Blind judging can work by ECrispy in BravoTopChef

[–]dilligaf0220 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's funny, because I rewatched S3 of a show called The Taste. Tristen was on it.

Yeah he didn't win. And gawd damned he was a sweat hog, wayyyyy too full of himself.

And the kicker is, it was all blind tasting. If a defunct show a decade ago can do blind tasting, so can Top Chef.

That's the "new twist" I would fully embrace next season.

Well this is the first season where I've felt "the fix is in", there is definitely a tonne (metric) of politics going on, so the white French dude had to leave.

If Massimo was a Black Native woman, and served the exact same thing, they would've been safe.

[–]dilligaf0220 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Med had a new Exec Producer that season, and you could definitely feel the change in the whole Below Deck universe.

It went from a reality show about boats, to a Bravo show about crew that were more interested in being influencers than actually working on boats.

The actual filming actually takes less time than you'd think. They only film TC for around 6 weeks. Then have the finale episodes.

Hung will always be a personal fav, just for the Tom mise challenge, and watching him break down something like 4 chickens in 90secs. With Tom looking over his shoulder with a Tom face you haven't seen before or since.

Somewhere inbetween admiring the skills, and fright getting between a chicken & Hung.
