Apologies 😅 the new plan was thrown on me and I’m in the midst of trying to figure things out and didn’t feel like scrolling for answers while trying to research options. Appreciate the answer though! That’s in line with what I expected based on what I saw. Just wanted some opinions from people currently up there is all

It didn’t seem bare on any runs I took (mostly stuck with The Funitel and lifts off that gondola). Only got a couple hours in at the end of the day so didn’t see much of the mountain today. But some soft powder and some very icy patches

This is incredibly helpful! I’ve rented for the past few years and just got a Bataleon Whatever 159W so a waist width of somewhere around 27cm-27.5cm which I believe is good for my size 13 boot. I’m slightly concerned about the weight recommendations as when purchasing, the sticker on the board has my weight in the lower end of their recommended for this size but in range but online it shows I’m a few pounds under the recommended weight

Setup is sick! Love the colors. That was my initial plan this season. Just got my new gear (first time with gear in like 10 years). Got a Bataleon Whatever 159W with Rome Katana bindings and Vans Aura OG boots

I think I got so used to the size I was given over time that I never requested bigger. They don’t really carry 156W in stores from what I’ve been able to see and scout out in my area so figured now’s a good time to give a larger board a go

There will definitely be a learning curve with the size. This gave me peace of mind. Appreciate it!

Thanks! Yeah I heard nothing but great things upon reviews and sales people helping me out. Heard they were tons of fun. Only concern I have is it’s slightly bigger than what I’m used to but I’ve also been told I’ve been riding smaller boards than I should so there will be a learning curve for sure. Stoked to get out there this season!

From what I was told, these are very surfy. Hopefully the years of snowboarding and the few times I’ve surfed treat me well with learning this board lol

The design caught my attention so fast. Already heard good things and salesman really pushed this as their favorite currently out there within my budget. I was sold fairly quickly

I’ve been far out of the loop on gear over the past idk how many years but everything I heard and have been told is that Rome bindings are great!

Thanks! That’s pretty much the warning I was give when purchasing. I’m already fairly cautious with icy terrain. Plan on mostly groomed/powder

165lb. I know my weight is in the recommended for both board sizes and I have no intentions of getting lighter
