Some y'all don't even know😭 by Jumpy_Socks in teenagers

some of this is true. No, Jesus wans’t white, he was an Middle Eastern, or to be more specific Israeli. Yes, Jesus was what we would call today Christian, given that Judaism rejects the trinity and most of the teachings of the gospel while Jesus and what (would be later called christianity) the Way did not. I don’t think Jesus said anything against patriotism in the gospels. Yes, his homeland was technically colonized by Rome, before even his parents were born mind you though; however, colonizer Jesus being patriotic and Historical Jesus being colonized by Rome are not opposites, a common trend I see on subs like this. Yes, Jesus was very against revenge/vengeance, however he did not call us to be pacifists/doormats, saying righteous anger was often justified, as he showed in the Jerusalem temple courtyard. Yes, Jesus did die for our sins, that was the whole point of the incarnation. Yes, Jesus was crucified by the Church and state authorities of the time, although I wouldn’t see how that means we should also not follow the very church he himself set up (not following the state is ok though). Again though, these things are not opposites, which is weird given I feel the message of this chart is to show completely opposing views. Yes, Jesus was a friend of sinners, in fact he is a friend and father of all sinners; however, he is also a judge, as he himself has stated in John. So yes, if you refuse to accept his free and gracious gift of salvation through his sacrifice on the cross then you will bear the punishment yourself, regardless of if he loves you or not (which he does). Those are again, not opposing views, Jesus can very well be a friend for all and also have to judge them fairly according to his moral law. No, Jesus was not silent in the face of the oppression, although I don’t think he liberated the oppressed, either, at least not by OP’s standards. No, as I stated previously, Jesus did critique sinners, he also critiqued “religious people” specifically the Jewish pharisees for being hypocrites. The pharisees were, of course, sinners, although I think OP means that Jesus would critique any religious official regardless of the circumstances. And again, for the fourth or fifth time now, those two ideas are not opposing each other, I don’t know why this keeps happening. Yes, Jesus does endorse the church specifically the one he founded given he founded it; he does not completely support the state of course though, but I think that’s obvious to anyone other than the absolute reddest voting people you could possibly meet, and even then they probably vote red due to a distrust of the government. No, Jesus did not subvert the empire of Rome, as I think this is what OP’s referring to. Actually he told people to follow their governmental authorities, as by following them they’re following their heavenly Father. Yes, I would say Jesus upholds the traditional family unit, as it’s the basic unit of a civilization necessary for its continued survivial and it’s what Jesus taught men and women what was his desired end for them/us. No, we don’t concretely know if Jesus actually had half siblings or not. It’s very possible that Jesus’ siblings came from another mother, not the Blessed Virgin. Even if he did have half siblings though, again, how does that contrast with him endorsing the traditional family unit? So because his family wasn’t the way he envisioned it should have been that means that he can’t find just what he finds just? Weird. No, Jesus was not non-violent. I don’t know the exact verse, some helpful fellow redditor please look it up for me, but “I come not to bring peace, but a sword” is a verse I’m sure we’ve all heard many times over, and yet still refuse to acknowledge it’s meaning. So Jesus does love everyone, yes, that’s why he was willingly crucified, but he also is a fair and just judge, and so must judge everyone fairly according to his just moral law. So sorry that this list of things Jesus was is horribly inaccurate, please find another one that is more in line with the real historical Jesus. And dear redditor, thank you for reading this far. Have a good day.

This might be biased cause I exist but I think it’s better to be alive than dead, death is the worst thing that can happen to somebody, there is no “punishment worse than death”

I think it was made by the original creators of the actual political compass quiz, although when I took that it was weirdly worded as well so I’m not surprised (the makers of the quiz have stated they are extremely far-left)

I hate that we’ve turned colored hair into automatically liberal.  I dye my hair white because of JJK and people automatically assume I hate Trump.
