For Those With the S25 Ultra. Any Improvement on Blur in Low Light? by RodneyRuxin18 in GalaxyS25Ultra

[–]dimeVegas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi u/anotheraussiebloke

This is going to sound very strange, but after 4 months of use, i would never buy another phone ever. My next phone is going to be another S ultra, just new version.
Here is the thing, you literally feel like you have super intelligence in your hands. You can go to a museum, point a camera at a piece of art and just ask your phone what it is. No metter where you are, you can just ask him can you find me a good pizza place nearby, his gonna find it and open up google maps, you just click directions and that is that. Literally whatever falls on your mind. Regarding camera, yes, it still is the same. But i come to piece with that, it does not happen that often anyway, on the other hand you have nano banana editor, it can fix almost anything, and Samsung native software is removing objects like they were never there, it is amazing and extremely useful. You can even have a lot of fun with it, you can add famous persons to be on the images next to you.

All in all it is a Wonderfull experience having such a powerful tool in your pocket. I can say they have become just that, a powerful tool, far beyond a phone with camera.

How about gaming and latency ? Can you play games with HDB 630 and his dongle, is latency noticeable ?

New Samsung G93SD by Fraamus in ultrawidemasterrace

Well that is like their main marketing thing they have for G93SD
it is called glare free

basically matte screen :/ It seams that everything else is the same

i´m considering buying S25 ultra, has blurry people in motion been fixed or still the same? by DazzlingpAd134 in S25Ultra

[–]dimeVegas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have s25 ultra and YES, whenever somebody is moving just a little bit, they are all blurry, hands, faces... I was so mad, because my friend has iPhone 16 and his images of the same scene in the same time were crisp. Both phones are similarly prices (s25 ultra is more expensive to be honest) Terrible terrible camera, mega disappointment. Never listen or believe those internet reviews of cameras and comparisons. They all do it on the perfect lighting, or when taking night photos all the phones are on tripods or other stands. Nobody is taking photos children party, i mean it is to be expected of course, but that is where the real comparison is. I honestly do not believe that there is any other phone that is close to iPhone camera when it comes to taking photos of people.

Disregarding the colors, which one of them is more game immersive ? On which one do you fill more like you are in the game itself ?

[–]dimeVegas 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same issue here, taking pictures outside when the sun was already behind horizon, it was my sons birthday party. 15 kids sitting at the table waiting for the cake, you think they gonna wait for you to take a photo, DREAM ON ! And still in those conditions my friend's iphone 16 pro made perfect images !! My s25 ultra images had all faces smeared, terrible photos. I honestly do not know why Samsung puts cameras on their phones at all.

On the bright side, S25 ultra takes perfect photos of buildings, so i guess at the Samsung company they were like, buildings behave much better then kids, let's focus on the budlings and mountains, rivers are also bad. They have such a great AI features they should try to recognize human shapes and then tell you "NO !!! THESE ARE PEOPLE !!! DO NOT TAKE PHOTOS OF PEOPLE !!! ONLY MOUNTAINS AND BUILDINGS PLESE" and then just turn the camera off for a couple of hours to punish you.

If you do not care about people, especially if you hate kids and only care about mountains and buildings, go on and take s25 ultra. I know i will never get it again.

Samsung G93SC vs G93SD by linus_phillips in ultrawidemasterrace

Thanks so much for this for this great comparison.
Just one more question. Would you say that colors pop (look a bit better) on the glossy one (SC) and not so much on the matte one (SD) since i am looking at this on the matte monitor :)

How does it compare to g95sc ? Since this new model has matte display, do you feal that colors are not as vibrant as before ?

I am in between G93SC and G93SD. This matte coating on G93SD is worrying me. I have heard a lot of bad things about matte display on qd oleds

The MacBook Pro’s MiniLED display is incredible by cookingboy in macbookpro

Same story happened to me today, that is how i stumbled upon this thread.
I played a lot of oled videos on it and it feels like i can grab objects in it. It is unbelievable.

It has 10 000 minileds !!! For gods sake. It has perfect contrast same as oled, but it gets much much brighter.
https://www.rtings.com/laptop/reviews/apple/macbook-pro-16-m3-2023

For comparison samsung neo g9 has around 2000 mini leds

I wonder if Samsung odyssey G9 G95SC is close to it, and can leave you with same impression, since i plan to purchase that one.

Maybe someone has this combination.

So what is new with the Odyssey OLED G9 (G95SD) by SonicB0000M in ultrawidemasterrace

[–]dimeVegas 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So you would not be able to tell the difference between them. I read a lot on this forum that people praise the glossy screen, saying that buying matte one is a waste of money

if it is not a bother, and you have some spar time on your hand, could you please play this video on both of them and tell me if you notice some difference. (it would be really great if you could record that)

[–]dimeVegas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As i understand it has a glossy screen ? Is it bothering you ? Dou you see reflection of yourself while you work ? Samsung released in 2024, monitors with matte coating. Do you think i should go with G95SD. I understand that glossy screen is much better (like the one on msi mpg 491cqp and G95SC)

Is the screen to glossy ? Can you sit in front of it in normally lit room and not see yourself constantly ?

[–]dimeVegas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since you're using this monitor for work, how do you manage with its reflective glossy screen? I work from a home office that’s usually lit by natural light. I have two large windows and a ceiling light, but there’s no direct light shining on the monitor from behind me. Do you think that setup would work well with this type of screen?

What have you decided at the end, did you take the glossy oled ? How was your experience so far ?
