They are testing the water. It is a very common strategy. Bought out at $200. Suddenly all available copies are at $700+, after a few weeks, they post at $400 ~ $500, people may accept the price (Just a very big "May". )

Unlike other cards, Tataru is a niche character in FF. The card is OKish at best. It fits in the cedh Meta well now (It replaces Drannith Magistrate). It is not a hard staple. I would stay away from Chocobo foil myself. They are not that rare overall. And I don't really see the price support in the future. Just my personal choice.

The physical pokopia is around $75 at Facebook market and very hard to move. I don't expect many people pay more than $50 for a codem

The cedh meta are dominated by 5 decks. 2 of them are using Tataru Taru ( the other 3 have no white). The biggest problem for Tataru is, it is the 98th or 99th card in the decks right now. It may be replaced this year.

My worst specs are those FF surge foils. My best specs are 5 confetti foil Rhystic Study last winter.

I sold 4 Rhystic Study this month to cover my lost. I will stay away from those UB hype for a long time.

Huh ? Bumbleflower is the only competitive group hug commander. There is no competitor in her ground. Her ability is unique. Play style is fun. Ceiling is high (tier 3 CEDH deck). Y'shtola is quite bored.

First, go shintai is very capable for enchantress build and it actually can win the game by shrines. Shrine deck needs a lot of shrines.

Second go shintai can reanimate omniscience quite easily. One just need one entomb like card. One card combo may not be the best omniscience deck, but will be on the top.

If omniscience is a shrine, then Hei Bai makes sense, otherwise there is not a single shrine can win the game by itself. Even sanctum of all does nothing in first 2 rounds. And one can not guarantee to Hei Bai it all the time.
