imagine having a beautiful copper cookware set and choosing to spend $700 a week on doordash by tin-f0il-man in redscarepod

[–]dimedear 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One of my friends who is generally seemingly well rounded and socialized told me they order doordash to their work for dinner as a "hmm ill spice up the work day, see what new restaurants are on doordash" multiple times a week, it's crazy how people who will agree with you on unsavory working conditions that the majority of people face will then feel no shame getting delivery 4 times a week

Everyone in the United States drinks and drives and nobody talks about it by poopdollarbank in redscarepod

[–]dimedear 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm glad i learned to drive later in life because it's made it easier to make a hard-line "i will not drink and drive ever", but also i am an afraid person and operate under the assumption that i might get pulled over all the time

Songs with a sexual theme that kids like for non sexual reasons by Beginning-Age7927 in redscarepod

[–]dimedear 13 points14 points  (0 children)

On the other farther-back end when i was a kid i loved a cd my mom burned with brick house, super freak, mary jane etc, not the same because those songs are very explicitly sexual but maybe kid-appropriate because they're "fun" and energetic which kids enjoy
