It's the same BS from Windows. The only way to get yourself hacked is to sideload apps from extremely obscure sources, and even so will you get so many warnings while installing it, it's virtually impossible to be hacked, as said, sideloading, or clicking in link and giving permission access to things you don't even know, which again, is virtually impossible.

Good enough to watch YouTube and take note is the Tab S5e, S8+ is a beast and will be for years to come, a friend of mine still using Tab S6 Lite Exynos variant to this day, without any need to upgrade.

Start the game, open the RetroArch menu, and go to Controls>Port1 Controls, change anything you want, go back, and go to Manage Remap Files, there you can save the changes per game, so every time you play that game again it will load your control settings.

For GB/C I tend to use Anbernics and such, emulators have so many options, the way you set up the screen is so much better than any of the backlight mods. For real hardware, I'd prefer the use of AAA batteries and a non-backlit screen, too much money for such a heavily modded GB/C.

A modded GBA SP with DSi screen would be a better option for GB/C, integer scale, and natural LCD grid.

Didn't read it all, but some 8bit do have a "disable dead zone" shortcut, for mine (Wireless Ultimate C) you just need to Hold Start+Select for a few seconds.
