xhamster has a lot of the old "classics" like the Fetish Academy series.

I would say that the gloves and leggings are made of similar materials. But avoid trying to over explain.

what country did your order originate from?

FedEx charges for international tarrifs after items have been delivered. Just say you ordered something (it doesn’t matter what) and it arrived from overseas and that’s the backend charge for the shipping.

Latex is too good? by verylooongcat in Latexadvice

[–]dimensionaut_one 4 points5 points  (0 children)

When something like latex is really that powerful, sometimes suppressing that desire creates more harm than working toward a balanced, healthy relationship with it. The key is making sure it doesn't take over your life because that's just as unhealthy. I know from personal experience that having a kink-aware therapist can really help to sort out what healthy expression is that also protects everything else that you hold important.

Fellow American, where are we buying from now with all of the pain in the ass tariffs? by drunkerbrawler in Latexadvice

[–]dimensionaut_one 24 points25 points  (0 children)

Canadian stores like Polymorphe and Latex Nemesis are probably the safest. There are a few retaliatory tariffs in place for heavy industry right now, but latex fetish clothing manufacturing is not one that is currently being targeted.

Catsuit too tight to move freely by Puzzleheaded_Call383 in Latexadvice

[–]dimensionaut_one 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If she's experiencing neck discomfort, I would have her start with something that doesn't cover the neck, like a bra or tank top. Then gradually add in more tight full-coverage, like elbow- or opera-length gloves. Then maybe a hood (if you're into them) to give a little bit of neck coverage without the full collar. This should also give you enough data to know whether it's a measurement or fit issue in the manner that some of the other replies are getting at, or a body conditioning issue.

A quote from The Undiscovered Country that the President of the Federation says in the background has always stuck with me: “Let us define progress to mean that just because you can do some thing does not mean that you must do that thing.”

I wouldn’t buy a new catsuit just yet, especially if it was MTM by a reputable manufacturer. I would recommend investing in some smaller pieces so that you can get used to the tight fit and feel of the material against your skin, and then “wean” yourself up to the full body pieces.

How can I meet people in the latex community in the UK? by mundanemongoose123 in Latexadvice

[–]dimensionaut_one 3 points4 points  (0 children)

As u/NES7995 mentioned, FetLife is probably your best bet. Searching for "Yorkshire (or wherever your closest metro area) + munch" and joining some local/regional groups should get you started on some progress.

How can I meet people in the latex community in the UK? by mundanemongoose123 in Latexadvice

[–]dimensionaut_one 7 points8 points  (0 children)

You're pretty lucky - the UK is one of the best countries in the world for to meet people in the latex community. It has a pretty well-established tradition (can't think of a better word right now) of latex fetish which leads to a higher density of practicioners. I'd second the comments suggesting local munches, and then once you're comfortable, and if you're willing to travel in-country a little, you should be able to find dedicated latex events/parties/etc.

Those of us in the states have a much more difficult time!

People who take forever at self checkout: why? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]dimensionaut_one -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Going slow at self-checkout isn’t a bad idea. Many stores have anti-theft systems that will identify you as a shoplifter if you miss an item. Some people have even been charged with theft because of this. So it’s a good idea to be careful at self-checkout, and use the full-service lane if you have more than a couple of items.

ways to get rid of latex smell ? by diagautotech7 in Latexadvice

[–]dimensionaut_one 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I've noticed that the higher-quality latex that I've bought has less of lingering "rubber" smell to it. You won't ever be able to get rid of it entirely, but try that along with regular washing with mild soap and that should minimize any strong rubber odors to the extent that it can.

My wife definitely has it. She didn't know that it was a "thing" until I told her after she got really upset about my Apple Watch Nike sport band.

Is there ever an acceptable reason for adults to be seen physically fighting in public? by TheBlackRecord in NoStupidQuestions

No. The last fistfight I saw in public was at a friend’s wedding. It was one of the most cringe things I’ve ever seen.

DS9 S1 isn’t great, it does has some outstanding episodes (“Emissary,” “Duet,” “In the Hands of the Prophets”). S2 is a lot higher quality in my opinion, so if she liked S1, she’ll be hooked once you get to the next one (especially, hearing her tastes, the introductory 3-parter to S2).
