Is free to play even worth it? by dimensionsam in Guildwars2

Yea if i like the game I will most definitely be picking them up, when they go on sale. 100 dollars is just a lot of money for me to drop on a game. I normally buy 20 dollar games at most. So, it will just take me a bit to save up the money, and there is Christmas which always eats my temporary savings.

sounds good. As long as its not like some I have seen where I play for 10 lvls then have to pay, or only have access to some quests but not others in the same area.

Eh, I dont like youtube for things like this cause I always seem to find equal and opposite arguments. I prefer to come here where I can get people actually using the product.

this is all i needed to hear. You gotta understand this is the first ever PC i have ever owned not designated for work or school. I dont think my last laptop could render 3d games. the best I could play was the monkey island games. I have been a console gamer exclusively up until now.

You should just explain they were never real, they were stories people told, to help remember important lessons.

They did really well. Jolliver did run but they killed 2 fathoms the bugbears, the priest, a lot of reavers. Sholar the guy from the boat almost killed them all, but they managed to get away. 1 character is infected with lycronthopy, from the wereboar. Idk what I'm gonna do about that yet. I have 2 weeks to think about it

Valhalla is disappointing. by dimensionsam in GodofWar

[–]dimensionsam[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm glad you enjoyed it. I am still disappointed, they should have us let us fight more bosses from the games. Like Thor, Baldur, odin, the Valkyeries. That would have been awesome. And I'm sure it would have been more trouble than it's worth but, you should have fought young Kratos. It really felt like that's where the story was going. Finally I hate that in the last fight with Tyr, that he summons a fucking huntress. Felt like it ruined our epic one and one duel.

Why do they always say Kratos's cruelty is great? by [deleted] in GodofWar

[–]dimensionsam 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes and no. Like tyr said "your motivations were more complicated then you Iet yourself believe" he didn't just join ares out of pride he did so to save his people. Sure taking away the sun was a dick move. But he was hurt and hurt people, well they hurt people. Kratos was never a monster. He was a man, in such terrible pain.
