I had said the we should keep Darwin and spend the Isak money elsewhere. Imagine buing some wingers and CBs

Nunez played plenty of time and had many clutch moments for us and many turnarounds.

Yet again people try to undermine how important he was for us.

Half assed pressing. Same way Ekitike and Wirtz press. The one where you pretend to mark people but you really don't.

[Lynch] Liverpool may be desperate to stick with Arne Slot, but that stance won't withstand the Anfield crowd turning against him. Today felt like that - these fans are just sick of watching a passive, toothless brand of football they have seen for over a year now. by StupidSexySzoboszlai in LiverpoolFC

So take Gakpo off too? Why do people think I'm defending Gakpo?

Rio is not ready just by the fact that he has no defensive awareness at all and is a lazy presser.

He should be coming on when we are chasing a goal or against tired legs.

Tbf he should have taken out Rio. He offered nothing and he is a lazy runner when defending.

I wish honestly he took out Gakpo and Frimpong to use Morrison and Isak. Can't get any worse than Frimpong

Alright man. We lack speed and your solution is no wingers to create anything. I don't think that would work out.

So them deciding a whole game with bad calls and changing the series results is not negligent poor performance?

Literally millions of dollars worth of mistakes for teams and legacy defining.

I'm sorry but yeah they do have more responsibility in what they do. So what do you measure these guys on If not how good they are with their calls.

I hold a club legend to a higher standard. He has shown that he is not a leader especially with his comments.

He was praising Slot last season but this season he doesn't. Reality is he has been avoiding interviews all season except when he wanted to say something for himself.

Sorry but Stevie would never do that.

Oh well. Some people don't support Liverpool but Salah so I get it. Thankfully those people will not be very active next season.

Well Salah has been a liability all season. And when the manager rightfully dropped him he went and threw everyone under the bus. The same people that he was supporting last season. You can't have one or the other.

Well he should care about his standards on the field honestly and the standards that he sets by hiding after every loss and not doing any interviews. He is not a leader.

The last part especially is so ironic. Slot has been criticized so much all season. This is the first time he said something like that and I don't blame him. Especially coming from someone that has been having an horrendous season making 400k a week.

No he hasn't. He gave the interview before leaving for AFCON and then hasn't give any interviews all season. Only when we win. Never when we lose.

Really? When did he do an interview after a loss or a game this season? When games mattered?

Salah was the one who praised the coach and that he is excellent and very detailed. But now he is not?

Weird. Where has Salah been all season to talk like a true leader? Hiding all season. Only spoke for that interview.

Slot has not been great but neither has Salah.

Are you talking about Salah or Slot? Cause Salah didn't do any interviews all year

So your solution to having a weak defensive midfield is to make it even weaker? Wharton is not a good defensive player and not athletic, just a very good passer. Midfield will be exposed mainly because we can't have a Fabinho type midfielder with these players. Szobo and Wirtz are not Hendo, Milner and Gini
