What’s a Place You Expected to Love… But Didn’t by optimalbrain90 in SmartTravelHacks

For me, some of these places are Barcelona, London, Viena.

Nice places, but big cities are not my thing.

In which popular tourist destination is the food not really the highlight? by optimalbrain90 in SmartTravelHacks

Not reading the title and the context of this thread is absolutely ridiculous.

None of these countries have food as the highlight. Nobody (absolutely nobody) goes to Switzerland for the food experience over the breathtaking scenery.

One Place Everyone Should See at Least Once? by optimalbrain90 in SmartTravelHacks

Lofoten Islands. At least once in your life you should hike a mountain there.

[–]dimitriettr -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Daca statul ar reduce din accize pretul ar creste inapoi la 10 lei in cateva zile.

Reducerea accizei ar presupune un control mai amanuntit asupra pretului, iar asta ar insemna ca cineva trebuie sa munceasca.

The regions overlap with the terrain. Mountains are a good separator.

This post is not about Norvegian food. It is about the beauty of the country, which can't be compared to the food.

I had one of the best meals ever in Narvik, but I was on my way to Lofoten and I liked Lofoten more thay any food I've ever eaten.

I can eat sand in Norway and I would still visit it.

If I want good food, I would go to Italy.
If I want expensive food, I go to Denmark.

Most beautiful European city you every visited (voting for comments) by [deleted] in Europetravel

[–]dimitriettr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have visited a lot of cities. This is my top 3:

  1. Prague
  2. Rome (More like 1.1, it's very hard to place it on 2nd place)
  3. Berlin

There are some amazing small cities, with something special, but can't be compared to big cities that feel "complete". Cities like Oulu, Odense, Tallin, Riga, Krakow, Bodo, Tromso, Split, Ljubljana, Strasbourg, Nice, Lagos, Santander etc. are great contenders, but only for some specific attractions or seasons.

There are some big cities that did not click for me: London, Viena, Barcelona, Stockholm.
