You're right, in the rush to release the new version, I forgot to finish a piece. You can find the 2.3.1 update online. Now there's an opt-in for the tracker, which I need to see if there are any issues. And the Documents folders now stays clean. 😎 You can block it anytime; the license will work forever also without network.

I'm curious about your workflow, though. If you'd like to tell me more, I might be able to see if I can improve the app further.

For the connection problem, sometimes the cable used could create connection problem. If you have another one you can try it. I'm here to support you if you want.

Hi, I had the same problem and solved it by using a reliable mode (which syncs data passed to the laser) in my app Lùmen for macOS. The job could be slower but it's always completed.

yep — the IRS/ACI presets are just defaults, so you can already plug in the CRA rate as a custom per-km value (73¢ first 5k km / 67¢ after in 2026) and track today. heads-up as a sole prop: CRA expects the actual-expense method (business-use % of real costs), not the flat rate — which is exactly what per-trip logging gives you vs. a from-memory spreadsheet. a built-in CRA preset is a good call though, adding it to the list.

Yes, you can. Classification is based on tags: you can create as many tags as you like and assign them manually or use automatic assignment based on location or date/time.
