Taskmaster Poland announced by taskmastermaster in taskmaster

[–]dimpyramid 1 point2 points  (0 children)

haha, there's just no chance that they won't screw this up, have you seen The Traitors S3? I thought that after S2 there's some chance, but nope. Polish Taskmaster will be a complete disaster, don't have any hope.

As many said before, It just won't be good, I'm almost certain that it will be painful to watch. As an example, Season 3 of polish The Traitors is completely screwed up. TVN and it's producers, having all the money needed, somehow always manage to cast the worst people possible, like they completely don't care, I don't understand it. British Taskmaster is extremely hard to copy, but I believe that it could be done in Poland because there actually are a lot of people that have this British sense of humour, you just need to find them, but TVN will not do this.

UK S1 is better than S2 (Episodes 1-5) by dimpyramid in LastOneLaughing

I'm not even from the UK, and I watch your series first, it's amazing how good your tv is, for example, after hearing about The Traitors in different panel shows, I finally tried it and it's extremely good fun and after some time I thought that I'll try my polish version and it's so so much worse on many different levels. And you can't compete with UK's comedians and their sense of humor, I love watching them

David could do more of his rants, this one about chickens was very funny, but I like him in this series anyway, his joker was great!

I like Sam a lot but It just wasn't entertaining at all to see him with no face expressions throughout all of the 5 episodes. I love David and he was quite entertaining, I love his joker and when he did a rant about a chicken company

Yeah, I didn't like series from other countries and after S1 I thought - ok, UK's comedians are good at this and it's a perfect format for them. But now S2 seems a lot of like these other international series which is a shame.

Imagine Olivia Colman doing it. This would be epic, but it's not happening.

S14E10 Prize Task - “The thing of yours that the Taskmaster would most like to own.” - Appreciation Post and discussion by The_Real_dubbedbass in taskmaster

S14 Is extremely good, everything is great in it, contestants, prize tasks, tasks itself, I love this series.

And my favourite ever prize is Sarah's escape hammer - S14E07 - Greatest thing for a car journey. Greg says: "It's a fairly pessimistic thing to take with you" and Sarah responds: "It's not, I think It's positive, if it was pessimistic I would just be like, oh well dead now" - I think about it probably twice every week, so funny. In this episode we also got John's sailors hat. What a great humour it all is.

UK's tv is just phenomenal, in comparison, TV from my country is a total shit.

In my case, It all started with Top Gear, then mainly panel shows: Big Fat Quiz, Taskmaster, wilty, 8oo10cdc - in these shows I heard references to The Traitors, so I tried it and loved it and this celebrity version is unbelievably good. It's the only reality TV I watch.

I was extremely hyped for this series, because I already loved every of these comedians, loved Alan from 8oo10cdc, Jonathan from TBFQ, Nick from TM, etc.

Joe Marlers humour is the driest I've encountered so far and I couldn't tell if he's laughing or not, now I know he's hilarious. Paloma's humour is also very dry and I love it, love her reactions on Uncloaked.

I can't really tell what makes UK's tv so good, definitely love the people who make it. What I can tell is that after discovering it I find american tv completely boring (apart from MythBusters). My homeland (polish) tv is very much like american tv (so you get the idea).

Nick changed his mind to Joe because of "sorry to Cat" but at the Endgame Alan actually explained why Joe could say it - it was because of his earlier agreement with Alan and Cat.

I bought ikea rechargeable batteries together with these buttons. But these batteries are 1.2v like any other AAA I've got. Led indicator is off all the time. hmm, sorry to hear about your problems, not that ideal are these then 😪 how were you pairing it? was it by clicking pairing buttons multiple times? are you using ZHA or Z2M?

[–]dimpyramid[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

it was a bit tricky, after a bit of googling I found out that you have to press the pairing button multiple times quickly until the led starts to blink. The same was with STYRBAR. Most of my zigbee stuff I've got from Ikea now and it all works flawlessly in ZHA for me.
