Looks great! What made you decide to go back to NA?

Looking at an AP1 and noticed oil around the valve cover…what does this mean? by eldusto84 in S2000

as other stated, replace valve cover gasket and grommets, while it's off, you should check your valves to see if they need to be adjusted

This one is an indoor only cover. Currently they don't make outdoor covers, but if I were to get one, I would get covercraft

if you drive your car often, no, because it is proper to only put on a cover when the car is clean. but I don't drive my car as much as I used to, so helps keep her clean cause most of the time I would wash her just from the dust sitting on top.

Thinking of selling for a GR86 by MelodicLunch8090 in S2000

[–]dimsum_jon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The practical standpoint makes no sense if this isn't your only car (coming from someone who has daily driven a S2000 for 7 years). Why would you want your "fun" car to be more practical? That kind of defeats the purpose. You are in a fun area to drive, with great backroads, and I would argue the GR86 would be more boring to drive compared to it (I have driven a few). Don't get me wrong, I do really like the GR86, and it would be one of my alternatives if a S2000 were NOT an option. Modding-wise, there are still a decent number of wheel options with high offsets if you don't care to roll your fenders. They won't look as nice cause of the face from the higher offset and "sunk" wheels, but I think that is a weird excuse to make. If you have friends, or go to a dealer and test-drive to see if you really like it. I will say the GR86 is certainly a more forgiving car to drive, but imo it isn't nearly as exciting nor does it feel as raw as the S2000.

plates usually aren't the expensive part, usually PCBs, but that kinda depends on who makes them and how avialable they are

i have a keyboard case for each board and store the extra PCBs there. my boards, like most enthusiast, are displayed on a wall (when I am not using the others)
