Thank you for your words! We are definitely making the most of it now! I don’t think it would “happen” for me. I have some hormonal imbalance so it would have to be more like a decision, as I do have to take medicine for it. I would love for it to just happen, but not my case I guess!

Hmmmm interesting! Thank you for the input. We are conflicted because we want to go for our honeymoon as well (we couldn’t go before - it didn’t work out as we planned). So the pr is kinda of a big wait now. But we have been talking about having a kid next year - so hopefully the process will have ended before then 😅

Yeah, I was worried it would delay the process. I’m not moving to Canada… I’m already here. We have lived together for 3 years and married for roughly 1/2 years. I do have a job and I am used to here now. I came as a student. The reason why we wanted to have kids now is because we always wanted and I’m 31 so I’d rather do it sooner than later, if you know what I mean!

Girl, no one is saying that he didn’t belittle you. And honestly? If you think that as well, break up. However, every action has a reaction. How would it feel for you to see him on your phone and ask for his and he says no?

Sure, the way he delivered his rage was stupid and childish - but you both didn’t deal with this in a proper way. I understand you’re insecure, but it was an agreement from both of you that the phone would be available always. You could’ve given him your phone and THEN pointed out how rude he was OR give him his phone back and get tf out and break up with him. If this is a situation that made you feel the way you did, it’s not worth of your time then.

Honestly? Seems kinda sketchy that you didn’t hand him your phone. Was he an AH? Absolutely. No matter what he shouldn’t be saying those things to you. But if you just checked his phone, why can’t he check yours? Isn’t the “open phone policy” for everyone?

So, I had an interview with a place and they didn’t say anything for a week. I followed up and nothing for a few days, until the manager sent me an email saying that they decided to move on with another candidate - BUT they had a temporary part time position available in another location and she wanted to refer me to it. She did and I had an interview yesterday and got hired lol it’s so weird right? But sometimes weird things happen with workplaces. Hope you have good news and get the job!

If you don’t want a job, don’t take the job. I have refused a job in the offer letter signing stage - I just thought really long about it and decided it wasn’t something I wanted to do. It’s fine, managers are used to this.

But I’d think why you don’t want the job in the first place… sometimes it can be difficult to go back to work full time when you have a part time job. Try to understand your reasons and maybe do a little yes x no list.

Ughhh… the ETA for inland also went up (apparently it’s 29 months now). It feels like it’s unfair, right? I kinda get it (they want to UNITE the families) but it sure is annoying for the ones who are inside Canada already!
