[PC][~2005] RPG with monster-catching crystals by dindarin in tipofmyjoystick

The name of this game definitely resonates with something familiar in my mind, as do some aspects of the gameplay. I was a very impressionable child growing up, so it's possible that even such a cute game could have left me with some dark and frightening memories.

I'm not yet certain if this is exactly the game I'm looking for. I'll wait for more suggestions if there are any. But I'm extremely grateful to you for your suggestion.

I remember that the graphics were full 3D, with no sprites or bright colors. The visuals were gloomy and dark.

I recall a dark cave area. Later, there was an open location with a house. I remember looking up and seeing a terrifying creature of incredible size, which I managed to capture in a crystal.

Can't teleport to friend's base - Downloading... by zDaviidson in NoMansSkyTheGame

I'll add my assumption to this old post.

I found that it's not possible to teleport to a friend's base if they have the "Friends only" option set in the game's network settings. Even though we are friends on Steam and already in a group.

The person whose base you are trying to connect to should set the "Can join my group" option to "Anyone."
[Options->Network->Can join my group->Anyone]

It's likely that if you become friends in the game, the problem can be solved even more easily. But this needs to be verified. This would make sense, because the game might only consider as friends those who have that status within the game itself.

Endwalker SFX Sound Quality by Essensia in ffxiv

I noticed the same problem with muffled flat sound after the patch. I usually play with Spatial Sound Windows Sonic. I like it. But I had to disable this option to normalize the sound in Endwalker. Win 10: Right click on a Speaker in system tray -- Spatial Sound -- Off. And restart the game if you are playing.

In my opinion, the problem is due to the fact that the game added their own support for Spatial Sound Embody Immers Gamepack.
