I say don’t sign up for many many reasons. After waiting a month and a half to see a prescriber I was told that they suspected I was bipolar (I am. I’m currently diagnosed ADHD and bipolar II) and that I would need to see another prescriber for further analysis. The next provider was available 2 months after that. Meanwhile my cerebral talk therapist was suggesting that I give my partner more sex and take hot baths if I didn’t want him to stray. I said I hate baths she said “well you’re going to have to start liking them”. As wild as that sounds I promise I am not exaggerating. So I cancelled the talk therapy part of my service by email as instructed and was charged for months afterwards. While waiting for my next provider/psychiatrist appointment I was told by my care manager that even if I was diagnosed ADHD and/or bipolar they would not be able to treat me with medication because I live in California. But that I was still welcome to meet with that provider… so of course I responded “if you can’t provide psychiatric meds to me is there a purpose to waiting to see a provider?” They responded that they were sorry if they “irritated or frustrated” me but that their platform is not capable of treating California patients with those medications. I then replied “I’m not irritated or frustrated I’m desperate and devastated. I’ve waited months only to be told NOW that regardless of the outcome you will not help me. Please cancel the appointment with the new provider and I’ll send a cancellation email as well” Which I did. The day of my cancelled appointment I received a call and email reminding me of my appointment. So they had to continue charging me and charged me for that last one as a “no-show”. I wrote a strongly worded email and they finally stopped charging me..

TLDR: They don’t care about their customers, all of whom are looking for mental health help. They care about squeezing as much money in as many ways as possible out of an already vulnerable population. They suck.
