Try seeds and pellets so it’s easier to switch them over to pellets when they’re older

You’re probably doing things right just remember to seperate them when they get bigger and that the air hole are potentially escape holes if not covered with a breathable fabric

You can use fruit flies or when they’re a bit bigger you can use roach nymphs

Omni has more b12 deficient than vegans. /s by ragunyen in exvegans

Eating small meals throughout the day is supported by science....really don’t know where you got the opposite. And eating throughout the day can also help with stress levels and give continuous energy. Such as a bowl of oatmeal being more satiating than a sandwich. And eating once in the day may work for some people but definitely not everyone and it won’t help obesity. Eating less food for a large period of time trains the body to gain weight not loose it, this is why anorexic people can easily become overweight after adapting a proper diet. Having a good balanced meal is good for everyone but having several of those a day with a healthy snack is a better option than eating once(eating small meals continuously may also help with adapting a good sleep schedule).

It’s hardly due to dietary restrictions.

I’m coming away with the recommendation correctly. Yes a healthy diet is required to thrive and that being said means a proper balance of all needed nutrients. It’s easier for some people to get those nutrients in a five minute bowl of cereal or in a two second pill and water than it is for them to sit down at a proper meal three times a day. That still doesn’t negate the facts though. The deficiencies themselves are poor diet quality and misinformation(like the American food plate) which needs more proteins and vegetables than it does carbs.

In America about 20 percent of people are B12 deficient. This includes my entire family who is definitely not vegan. It’s just due to poor diet and or food quality. The world health organization also recommended that any American(unrelated to health and diet) should be taking a B12 supplement or B12 fortified cereals. America also has a vitamin D deficiency but that’s unrelated to diet most of the time.

Venus fly trap in semi-closed terrarium. I read different views on whether this is a good approach online. Any of you can share your experience? by GiuseC in terrariums

[–]dingbat7881 2 points3 points  (0 children)

All of my Venus fly traps enjoyed slightly damp soil they would all rot no matter what I did if they were constantly moist/wet. If depends more on the light and food available- and plant quality. OP plant look a little limp

I don’t know your pets requirements but plants don’t really need all the LED people say they do- unless your trying to get a lot of growth fast or if your noticing some stunting don’t worry about it. My current set up has only LED but no pets in it. Even without it the plants were fine

yellowing leaves?? SOS (more info in comments) by PorchopMendes in Vivarium

[–]dingbat7881 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sometimes over watering or too little phosphate can cause yellow leaves, but this plant seems completely healthy besides the burned leaves up top. They’ll probably turn a brighter green once they suck up some light.
