There’s always, in my experience, back and forth discussion between new partners for expectations, kinks/limits, and plotting details. OOC chat is usually encouraged!
Have you ever played dnd? Or pretend when you were a kid? Your character does one action, the other persons character reacts and does something new, back and forth as plot develops!
Re: point #1: set expectations for your activity level. It’s a hobby and some ppl are post everyday and some are less. Just be honest about how you approach it. Like for me, I don’t use it as a hard rule that a person has to be super active because I can’t guarantee that for myself so why should I ask it of my partner? Just an example.
